using mspectraldynamics and mspectraldelay to process sounds!
🕑 Added 2021-04-14 01:01:11 +0000 UTCHEYO! new vid! hope y'all enjoy these couple of sound design tips :D
apologies about the video quality - i realized after i uploaded it that i recorded in 720p instead of 1080. i'll have that fixed in the next video!
also sorry if there's a little background noise, that's my roommate hahaha
ALSO, another tip for mspectraldynamics: there's a spectral gate in there, so if your sound is really really noisy, it helps a lot to turn that on. it can also sound really cool if you turn it up all the way.
and for mspectraldelay: messing with the feedback knob can sound super sick, especially if you're making delay laser sounds and other stuff like that!

It's actually a sample from your Heinous sample pack...I just found it..loop flute edge in the Edgy Melodic loops...I still would love to have a process for creating sounds like this.

I have a somewhat specific request. Mr. Bill streamed Fuck Around Thing the other night and there is a track or layer of tracks that makes a sound he said you constructed. It's at bar 121 during the breakdown. He solos the track at 1:59 into the video if you have access. I'm curious how to go about making a layer like this...doesn't have to be the exact one just what the process would be like.BTW Mr. Bill calls it the best sound in the song...it is perty cool....
