Friends-Only Episode 33: Stay Out of Riverdale!
🕑 Added 2019-02-28 06:40:41 +0000 UTCLike a blast from the past, except EXCRUCIATINGLY up-to-date, it's the strangely joke-adjacent (and troublingly sexed-up) stylings of Archie Comics. Bring your highest tolerance for very, very thin hijinks and prepare to earn one (1) gold doubloon should you be able to spot even one sentence NOT ending with an exclamation point or a question mark. (Don't get excited. You're not gonna find one.)
Old cartoonists and Pearl Jam come in for a little bit of ribbing this time around, but please understand that it's all in good fun. We're all basketball fans here, and we're all very, very familiar with the difficulty of making supposedly funny things on deadline. (But, seriously, check out the photos attached to the post on Patreon: there is NO excuse for that continuity error with Veronica's dress situation.)
NOTE: deeply confused about the jokes at the very end? Please enjoy the greatest band of all time, Jud Jud.

The Remember to eat Hamburgers tattoo totally broke me. Had to pull out of traffic and take a moment to compose myself.
@Jay I never watched True Detective so you're probably right Also liked hearing about what Archie is up to. Never read the comic growing up, but it was always around. I always loved that it was willing to go completely bonkers with its crossovers and spinoffs
