Friends-Only Post No. 11: Network Effects
🕑 Added 2016-08-09 05:20:12 +0000 UTC WHAT HAPPENED LAST WEEK ETC.First, Lemon would like to announce that he is in fact a fan of the Dandy Warhols, in that if they come on, he does not turn them off. He apologizes to Courtney Taylor-Taylor for lumping him in with Corey "Fucking" Taylor and regrets any offense given.
Second, a fun behind-the-scenes factoid about recording podcasts: when Lemon is on the show, J. has to make two tracks for him; a normal Lemon one, and a special "Lemon (Quieter)" track to move things to when Lemon gets all het up. He is, to date, the only guest to require -- or, frankly, merit -- such treatment.
Third! We are proud as hell to announce that, as a result of our work on *Seven Deadly Sins*, we have been asked to join a podcast network! Yes, your friends here at IDEOTVPOD no longer have to go it alone, pushing forward into the world as a completely independent podcast, free of mattress advertisements and easy ways to get guests. But no more! Now we're part of a huge, powerful roster. A squad, if you will. We are beyond thrilled to be a part of this startup, and we think we're going to bring an exciting edge to their programming. More than that, though, we are honored -- blessed, even -- to take our place in the midst of some shows we think complement our vibe and our work really beautifully.
WHAT THE HECK?
So, without further ado, please allow us to introduce you to ... the COREY FUCKING TAYLOR PODCAST NETWORK.*
WHAT'S COMING DOWN PIKEWISE
Obviously, we're going to have to do some Real Work. With a lineup that puissant, indeed totipotent, it's going to be hard for us to keep up. So we're working out and polishing our podcasting skills (and hitting hot metal with hammers).
Aren't these pictures insane!? That's how a gentleman wears an IDEOTVPOD t-shirt (when that gentleman is long-time friend of the show, guest on one of the most fun episodes we ever did, and pounder of steel Alexander Fakelastname!). Looking good, buddy!
Wanna buy a shirt? Email us! Many still available in excellent sizes including, mainly, Medium! And maybe some others! Email and I'll check!

*(Apologies to J. for the sound quality and apologies to Scharpling and Wurster, whose style I totally bit.)
