Friends-Only Post No. 16: You Must Choose
🕑 Added 2016-09-13 05:15:48 +0000 UTC THE FUTURE IS WHERE WE'RE ALL GOINGLet's do this fast and deep; let's talk about the future.
1. We Are Soon
performing LIVE at a LIVE SHOW. You will want details.
Thanks to the great Lauren Parker, J. and Clsn will be contributing to Litquake, by reading bad reviews of good books at:
The Make-Out Room
3225 22nd St.
San Francisco, CA 94110
Saturday, October 8, 2016, 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
It's going to be turbo-excellent, and you can read about it here and buy tickets here. We look forward to seeing your faces -- and rocking them all!
It's a wheelchair-accessible venue, close as heck to BART! Come out to the venue where Clsn once saw one of his favorite writers open up his reading by acapellaing a Doors song, before growling "Aw, hell, ol' Jim always was a little uneven."
2. We Are Also
preparing to do A VERY SPECIAL EPISODE with AN EVEN MORE VERY SPECIAL GUEST! And but so but WE NEED YOUR HELP. Recently, you voted that we needed to do a WEIRD GENRE book, which turned out to be HOCKEY ROMANCE, did the genre. And now, we have three such hockey romances for you to vote for and pick from. Please: sound off in the Patreon comments with your choice, or reply to this email! Pick just one, vote just once, and let us know which one of these we should do!
A. Alex: A Cold Fury Hockey Novel
Angry kid with a middle finger and an alcoholic father. A tempting redhead with killer curves. Arrogant smirks, heated fantasies and bad-boy façades!
B. Forever Pucked
"In addition to being an amazing hockey player, Alex Waters is an incurable romantic with an XL heart and an XXL hockey stick in his pants. And he knows how to use it. Incredibly, orgasmically well. Alex is the whole package and more. Literally. Like his package is insane. Total world record holder material."
C. Taking Shots
"A brilliant athlete inside the rink, Shea Adler is tired of the life he's living outside of it: the women, the money, the drinking. When he meets Elli, he feels like he's just taken the hardest hit of his life."
WHAT HAPPENED LAST WEEK ETC.
We recorded Sunday, taking as our topic a world-class awful "thriller". Can't say too much about it just yet, but it's an episode that CUTS LIKE A KNIFE, and talks a lot about a SHARP DRESSED MAN, and also is a real SYMPHONY OF DESTRUCTION. So that's three things you have to look forward to -- because we love you and we want to make you happy (by talking about hockey romance, etc.).
UNTIL NEXT TIME
raise your voice in songs of Grasslands (and please, please vote for FOREVER PUCKED)

I think it's the Alex from the Fractured Earth episode and our newsletter, tbh.
A, definitely. I'm going to vote for ALEX, I want to hear about his RAGING TUDE. Also, I totally interpreted the description to mean that Alex was the redhead with curves and also angry, which...I want to see a curvy furious redhead dude constantly giving everyone the finger and also hockey? Also wait, why are the first two about someone called Alex. Is it..the same Alex? Did he stop being angry when he learned that his penis was notably huge?
