Friends-Only Post No. 4: Friends and Affirmations
🕑 Added 2016-06-24 07:33:44 +0000 UTC Mellow greetings to you, friend of IDEOTVPOD. We hope this friends-only missive finds you well!Your humble (and humorous) hosts recline in dank preparation for their show-related tattoos, satisfying our Dark Pledge, which documentation will follow and we do duly implore you to anticipate it. Appointments are being made. Loins are being girded.
Yes.
In other news, it appears as though the appetite for self-destruction enjoyed by one's average voter is ... big. (We're a little freaked out about #Brexit.) But we're all working to assure stark betterness for ourselves and those around us most of the time (right?) so we can be excused for taking the occasional opportunity to relax enjoysomely, with a podcast, a bad book, a beer. A moment of escape can refuel a person terrifically, enabling them to work all the richer later.
Yes.
WHAT HAPPENED LAST WEEK AND SO FORTH
As we mentioned, we had the first IDEOTVPOD meetup in a WHILE the other week! It was fun! Look at the fun! NOT PICTURED: the hella pizza which was ated up; polenta fries (? yeah, it's the bay area, what?); any bad books.
Thanks to everybody for coming out (even if you snuck out before we thought to get a picture) and let's be sure to do this again soon.
Yes.
AND!
Check out THIS picture! This came when a Holy Diver Tier Friend of the Show wanted to meet up to pick up his shirt (pictured) instead of having it mailed to him. Note the delicious popped corn! Feast on the sweaty Bullets of Silver, rife for quaffing! All these can be yours when you ask for our shirts! Friends, this is the show that loves you, and that gives.
Yes.
How much giving? Well, J. is a freaking genius, and he didn't love the way Patreon sets up the Bonus Episodes: Patreon wants the Bonus Episodes to be a streaming-only thing, and that didn't set right with us, because we think the episodes are yours. So! J., who is a freaking genius, hooked you up with the following page! Just go there, log in with your Patreon info (which we don't ever see) and get the extra stuff we made for you. It's easy, and it will make your life better, because that's who we are, and that's what we do.
Yes.
WHAT'S COMING AND WHATNOT
Next episode is a screamer, for sure! Massive guest joining us for a book that breaks new ground in laziness and cynical cheapjack cash-in-ness. Our first-ever "guy trying to do an American accent"! Collision's most (inappropriately) pretentious recommendation yet! And J.'s most sick-ass, shredding guitar solo EVER. (One of these things might not be true.)
Yes.
UNTIL NEXT TIME
