And as I listen, I feel like it’s really helping me to draw up how I need to proceed on this journey. Excluding technology advanced by capital is a handicap. Excluding indigenous/harmonious ways of existing with deep understanding of our environment is inevitably disastrous. Trying to separate the current conditions imposed by capitalism from the tech innovation that has occurred is a really fucking big ask. But if we allow that system to continue to ravage indigenous populations globally thru that capitalist tech, we are guaranteed to destroy ourselves and the innocent populations that do the most to protect and the least to impact the environment. The fine line that has to be walked makes me nauseous

You know I’m really grateful for the information y’all put out there. As I’m listening to this episode I’m starting to notice a shift from the standpoint of taking part in a lecture to actually trying to enter the conversation in my head. Feels like an important step. Not sure how to thank rev left and yalls affiliates enough
