This just felt like an hour of unchallenged propaganda for the political* powers of China. We’re supposed to be better than this.

So great to hear from someone actually living in China, especially in regards to “wet market” stereotyping and the bogus assumption that citizens under a socialist system are naive to the state of their rights and perceived freedom. Also a valuable perspective on the motivations for immigrant hatred in the U.S. Get “them” out so other citizens can be employed in undervalued labor that is returning from the Far East. Awesome episode.
