The billionaire anecdote reminds me of a teambuilding game I’ve played at multiple companies. It’s framed as some variation “how much can YOU win” but the game runner doesn’t reveal until the end that it’s all the teams versus the game runner, NOT against each other (it was the collective “you”). Collaboration is the only way to win. Although I’d assume if these monsters took that advice they would only end up creating a scenario like the movie Elysium.
