Regeneration: The Real Movement - Against The Solidarity Economy
🕑 Added 2019-05-10 01:58:29 +0000 UTCIn this article from Regeneration Magazine, the official outlet for the Marxist Center, Alyson Escalante responds to an article defending the solidarity economy over Marxist revolutionary strategy. In it she clarifies the Marxist conception of revolution, defends Leninism against those who wish to reject it out of hand, and shows the inherent weaknesses of utopian schemes dreamed up in armchairs compared to Marxist theory which has been tested in the process of building and defending socialism in the real world.
Here is Alyson's piece (which I am reading in this episode): https://regenerationmag.org/the-real-movement-against-the-solidarity-economy/

Also, I am still experimenting with new things. Sometimes they don't always work out as well as Id hope, but I gotta keep trying, ya know? Its all trial and error, and I appreciate your feedback. Ill definitely keep it in mind going forward.

yea, I agree that sometimes these articles can be more difficult to parse out, and its very specific too which adds to that. I still think doing these articles is a good resource, and some will find them more helpful than others. But I also think that since this was a response, and a very theoretically dense one at that, it is particularly difficult to follow. I still hope you got SOMETHING out of it, though.
