I agree, but its very hard to make these determinations. Alc did a good job in that none of his choices are clearly bad. To me, that's about all we can ask. The league has a long history and the 1985-2025 game is close enough to say players are playing the same game (unlike if you go back to 1960), meaning that there are literally thousands of players. Even if you somehow find it easy to only consider the top 1%, that is still dozens of players. Its a thankless task and not even that fun to read or hear about anymore because even when they make a top 75 list, instead of recalling their performances and celebrating their accomplishments you immediately get 10 times as many complaints and people like Klay grousing about someone (himself) being left off the list. Just a total downer.

No Kawhi and Pippen on best defender list? I know the injuries may have derailed him a bit but when healthy Kawhi might be as lockdown as anybody. Same for Pippen.

Totally agree with you on the Chimaev note at the end. It was complete domination but he was clearly being conservative with his offense at the same time and was a let down from what I had expected that fight to look like.
