Agree 100%. Dray’s coasting on his reputation some nights, the fact that Kerr punishes the younger players for fundamentals and just shrugs when Steph and Dray commit 90% of the turnovers should tell everyone everything they need to know about what the problems with this team are.

I suspect that Jimmy simplifies things for the younger players. The coaches keep telling them to keep the ball moving until it finds Steph, meanwhile, they pass up their own open shot or end up moving the ball into a position that doesn’t create an open shot, then you get a no shooter shooting the three pointer. It’s so pointless, but they are only doing what the coach tells them to do.

14 missed layups. The game was winnable with free throws and layups. Grimes was tooooo comfortable. Sometimes I wonder when Draymond loses his composure is it because he's frustrated the coaches refuse to make adjustments.....

One night without Jimmy and we got the worst of Dray, the worst of Kerr, the worst of Buddy, and summer-league rookie Podz. My god, do the Warriors ever scout their opponents? How is it that I'm more familiar with Yabusele's game than Kerr? I'm not even sure I got the spelling right, but I sure as shit knew that he's a shooter. He was an absolute stud for France. I did not expect Jimmy to be such confidence booster for Steph and especially Dray. The early returns are good but the team's hopes now rest entirely on his very suspect health.

I think Draymond looked physically drained. I dont know about you, but when I'm exhausted, that's when i become cranky. Yes he could've done better, but he is out there still trying to win. He ended up with 13 points, 8 reb, 8 assist. Bad game for moody. Buddy ass as usuall

It’s amazing how, when Jimmy is not on the court, the self-confidence of the second unit evaporates; they become tentative in their shots and play “u shoot” {“Here u shoot, no here, you shoot”); layups are missed; jumpers fall off the front of the rim. I dream that the Australian kid can shoot well enough to supplant Buddy. Fantasy, I know.

Shows how much JB's gravity impacts the team by just his presence, being able to get something in the basket when Steph is off the floor and nobody can make a shot, controlling pace and setting up role players, and as another adult in the room when Dray is wetting his pants - again. Unless our 60 million dollar man can't move at all. we need him to suit up.

Not the worst loss ever, but pretty clear that Steph/Dray's leadership is cooked. Both amazing players and Steph looks really good right now (bro dunked for absolutely no reason lmaooo), but I don't think it's possible at this stage for them to galvanize the team to a win without being the center of attention. Kerr, too. Makes Dunleavy look SO savvy becuase Jimmy Butler is probably the one player in the league who doesn't give a shit about politics or hierarchy but also commands deep respect. We really need him to bridge the ego gap that steph/dray/kerr create between them and the rest of the roster

They dodged "Podcast P." They dodged paying Lauri Markennan when they have QPost for far less. They dodged getting Kevin Durant back with all the drama that would've immediately followed. They dodged acquiring Zach Lavine. All that dodging was the result of a combination of the Dubs (listening to a minority of us fans and) valuing JK and Moody and Post too high to deal them AND other teams making outrageous demands no rational GM would meet. The team is far stronger for it. Maybe they should listen to us fans in the minority more often!

I know that losing an important player to any lineup can mess things up. But how, after only EIGHT games, does losing Jimmy turn us right back into a bunch of incompetent idiots who only know "pass it to Steph" as the limit of their basketball knowledge? Draymond has been looking decent over the last 8 games. But then Jimmy sits and suddenly he forgets how to play basketball again???? The offense looked atrocious in every facet. This game "doesnt count" because Jimmy didnt play. Is that what theyre all thinking? Im kind of getting annoyed how they are yo-yoing Kuminga. Oh hes coming back! Buuuuut not really. But now he is!!! I think we’re deep but I think inevitably we’ll need Jimmy or Kuminga (a person who can penetrate the interior and catch fouls) for any deep playoff run. Without them this team reverts back to outside shots or ineffective drives
