But... you seem to be conflating unconscious bias with conspiracies? Do you not understand those are different things? Or maybe you claim you can read minds (again, very common among children and dishonest people) and so you KNOW they have conscious bias against Draymond. Which, again, nobody would blame them for. But that's STILL not a conspiracy. OK. So we finish on you just confirming that you either don't know or don't care about the definitions of words, in this case "conspiracy theory." *A mistake is not a conspiracy theory.* And 26th in the league is barely even a mistake. Because even when Buddy misses… he still sees two. Its tough not having him out there because guys go under everyone else screens. Kerr isnt left with much choice but to see at least 15-20 mins of Buddy. Which is why i think someone like Lonnie would play Buddy out of the rotation

I’m interested to see what happens. I suspect they polled the players to figure out what could be done to change the effort devoted to playing. So this is really an experiment to see if the players can ever be motivated to change their play or if the All Star game is really dead

Buddy deserves blame also!! Dude is missing wide open shots that are being created for him by Steph and Butler. He has been Gawd aweful and his play is on no one else but him. The only thing that is on Kerr is him leaving Buddy in even though everyone can see he is just out there stinking up the joint on a nightly basis

I think you are correct. JK healing is not enough, they have to make sure he is safe and strong in all of his movements and verify that his body isn’t going to change how it moves as a result of the injury. They have to make sure his body actually remembers how to play the ways it did before and doesn’t remember the trauma of the injury.

The team play this game was so horrible, that I had anticipated Kerr saying that GSW didn’t deserve to win this game. For that reason, I refuse to blame Buddy for poor team play because it wasn’t just him. The other reason why I won’t blame Buddy is because it is Kerr’s fault that he doesn’t diminish his minutes when he isn’t playing well and he’s guilty of doing that for every older player. It killed is when he did that with Klay last year. It also looked to me like they tried to implement new plays? It looked like multiple people weren’t sure what they were doing, many times without Buddy on the floor. And you can always tell when Kerr tells the team to just get the ball to Dray or Steph to score because the motion stops. Kerr is sabotaging his own team by reducing everything to 2-3 man plays, it makes it so easy for the other team to ignore the players who they know won’t be shooting. So painful to watch! Make no mistake, that officiating was abhorrent. I went to YouTube after the game and the ESPN videos talked about Kyrie’s play and whatnot, but every comment was about the officiating! People who were Mavs fans or who don’t usually watch either team were commenting on how bad it was. That was surprising to me, because it’s always obvious to Warriors fans, but no one else cares. I do hope Jimmy takes note and sees how high the climb really is now that he’s a team mate with Steph Curry.

I saw this game and the refs impact compared to the warriors players was negligible. Steph had a bad night and was still the best player his team because he has NO HELP. NO ONE ELSE IS SHOOTING AND THEY ARE MISSING LAYUPS FOR GOD SAKE!!!

Given your tendency to make sweeping generalizations about the "whole population is so stupid" & demand tangible "real-world evidence" for every claim, do you reject concept of deduction and informed reasoning? By your logic, the only acceptable proof would be the Ref caught on camera sharing explicit instructions from NBA executives to favor the Mavs in response to the fallout from the Doncic trade. How about a full confession from the same Ref admitting his personal vendetta against Draymond and his on-court tantrums? Yes, the Warriors have significant issues—poor coaching, QP’s defense, a slow start, and blown layups—but biased officiating HAS always been a part of professional sports. The league is an imperfect system run by imperfect human beings w/ individual biases, which is an unfortunate reality. I enjoy talking about ALL aspects of basketball, not just X's O's. I gotta be honest. I hate the refs talk, though Alch has to do some of it when they totally blow calls, like last night. But I REALLY hate the conspiracy theory talk. Our whole population is so stupid, and it's because everybody credulously talks about conspiracies and normalizes them, like pilgrims talking about witches. If somebody's got evidence, I WANT to see it. But just bullshitting conspiracy theories is pointless and degrades everybody's (including our own!) ability to enjoy the game. And I'm for ALL of the investigating and forensic accounting of the refs. Do all that shit. Stake out their houses and go through their trash looking for evidence. Tap their phones. But do real-world shit looking for real-world evidence of a conspiracy to rig games. Without that evidence, I don't want to talk about it. I want to talk about 1) why we're still playing Shitty Hield, 2) how quickly can we upskill Post's defense, 3) why the F we give up a 10 point deficit to begin EVERY game, 4) why we have the worst shooting team in the NBA, including layups. Those are productive things to talk about.

We HAVE to get Buddy Hield off the floor man. We HAVE to. Look at the data. Look at the eye test. Put ANYONE else in there and we'll be better off. Gui Santos can shoot the 3 well enough. The "fear" of the Buddy Hield 3 (if that is a thing that really affect spacing, which I doubt) is not worth the reality of him sucking ass - with high utilization - at both ends of the floor.

The kicked ball and the rip through calls were next level insane in terms of game impact and egregious fuckery. Even the charge against JB was borderline. It felt like every advantage that could be manipulated by the refs was taken. I'm usually reluctant to use the refs as an excuse but this was beyond beyond. Hard not to muse on some Tim Donaghy-like shenanigans at work in the deep nba state. And Hield.....when multiple teammates start shaking their head at you in-game you know the parties long over. The only role for his is as an offensive experiment off the bench. If he's hot, ok, if not yank him and sit him, The silver lining is that even with Murphy's law raining down (shit 3 point shooting, multiple missed layups, terrible officiating) we still almost won the game. Hopefully its an aberration not a condition.

Yeah, but I presume that the point of those workouts is first to get back into playing condition and then to restore the moves that were your go-to before, not to risk all of your mechanics (and thus health) by trying to rehab AND work on a secondary or tertiary skill. BUT, I could be 100% wrong. I just wouldn't ask any player to do that. It'd be like saying, "Hey, Steph, you're coming off a bum knee. We'd like you to work on your on-ball defense while you rehab it." Seems risky.

I hate the idea of home court advantage going to the conference that wins the ASG. This isn't baseball--home court REALLY matters in the NBA. It would allow the 7th finals game to be hosted by a team that won several fewer games than their opponent. There'd be no fairness in that. . . . .In the end, the players don't want to get hurt in the ASG, which is understandable. Nothing will change that. They should just cancel the game, give players a short mid-season break, and do skills competitions for the fans who want to watch (not me).

The refs were dog shit all night and then Buddy playing 31 minutes was even worse. Why can’t Mosses or Gui get his minutes? They have proven to be better than him especially when their shots are not going in. When Buddy cannot hit a shot he is the worst player on the court and completely useless. He is not prime Klay, he will not lock down the other teams first option and eventually go off for a big game. Buddy is a waste of minutes and should be on the bench behind Gui and Moody

I know Jimmy isnt in shape and that probably has him more in a pass first mindset. But that Draymond and Jimmy pairing isnt going to work. We dont have the perimeter scoring talent to have those two being unselfish. With Dray on the court.. Jimmy has to look to be aggressive attacking those mismatches. Im really interested to see how Kerr tweaks the rotation when Kuminga returns. I would prefer Dray to come off the bench.

Damn letting Schroder go instead of Buddy was a big mistake esp if we were going to give up Wigs. We lost two of our top three POA defenders and it didn't seem like anyone wanted Schroder. The extra years on Buddy's contract probably made it hard to deal and I'd imagine his signing was Kerr's call, which is why Buddy continues to get so many minutes.

Well well well. How nice of the warriors to end that honeymoon phase so quickly. I gave them 6-8 games. They did a full speed run and chose 2 games! Look we can complain about the refs all we want. They were egregiously bad. But honestly no different than any other game where we get shafted. It’s been like this for years now. It’s obvious. And it basically is what it is. If they DONT shit themselves in that 2nd quarter, maybe we don’t have to worry about the refs so much. This core 3 is now the oldest combined core in the league and they STILL somehow make the most rookie level dumbass turnovers. How long have we been saying it now? So long as Kerr is still the coach and Buddy still gets minutes like he’s fucking KD, this team will go abso-fucking-lutely NOWHERE. There’s no excuse at this point. Yeah boohoo the refs suck. They always suck. We can only control what WE can control. We could play Buddy less. But for some godforsaken reason, Kerr has OBSESSIONS with tiny guards who “hustle” and can’t defend to save their lives. Glad the honeymoon phase is over. Can’t even beat the Mavs without AD.
