Think also, this report was a of bit fake news, not the information itself, but when it's being released and assuming it's as relevant as when the conversations between the two franchises had them few months back. I think both front offices want to know more about what they have. Fair enough - I think we have very different expectations of what TJ-D could be if fully embraced. Also using picks as payment to get off both long term deals allows for both a new contract for the acquired star (in this case Butler) and the Kuminga extension. For me the two mother fuckers are Steph and Jimmy taking over 4th quarters with Kuminga a part of that attack- something that would never fully manifest with the Dray/Steph waltz being a mandatory track played over and over

offensively - the way Butler takes over in 4th quarters would make the Draymond role obsolete Warriors have 3 unprotected 1sts to trade which should be enough value to get Butler without any of the young players, especially if Miami stalls at the line of scrimmage early in the season. The Heat then would have the ammo to go star hunting with their picks plus these in the near future. - Sending Wiggs + Dray + picks is the package they should try and send. Miami - a team that never fully tanks might be only franchise that would consider such an exchange
