Maybe Steph's struggles are simply because he's not used to the shorter 3-point shot? From the distance of where he's taking most of his 3s in the Olympics would equate to maybe a foot on the 3-pt line in the NBA? I've never seen him take a shot like that. He's also hit some of his deeper 30-35 ft shots this Olympics so maybe the key is to just try and take deeper shots.

low-key worried that we'll have to bench steph vs. Germany if/when we see them. Schroeder destroys him constantly and with Steph's shot not going and Germany maybe keyed in on it, it could be an issue for us to have him and Joel out there

Im not a fan of how he moves off the court and his personality in general. But one of my pet peeves are these former players acting hell fake on air.. I got give him credit for being himself and not trying to do too much. As a player Wade might be underrated tbh a true 2 way lead guard.. is he in Kobe and MJ air of course not but after that...

Definitely not a fan of DWade, he did some TNT stuff before buying part ownership in the JAZZ. Too much LeBron slobber and talk about himself. I was never a fan. When drafted back in the early 2000s to me he was always over hyped, put in the MJ/Kobe heir apparent category. But more a coattail rider for his chips. But just my biased opinion and I'm an OLD SCHOOL MJ guy who watched him at UNC as a Freshman can the winning jumper which given the age of most of the folks on here I doubt many were alive or able to watch that game.

He gets a bad rap in the A, but he's really a scary weapon when his usage doesn't need to be high. AD + Bam also impressive, but expected. I wonder how this olympics affects some of these players' outlooks for the season, Steph included.

Wasn't shown in the breakdown but I recall one possession in the 3rd quarter where Gui held his own on defense vs LeBron on a post up and forced a miss. I don't know how he gets minutes for the Dubs next year with almost 12 guys on the roster in line for rotation minutes, but I hope Gui gets a shot to play next season. For Steph, he hasn't had a big highlight in the Olympics aside from the look away 3 he had at the end of the Serbia game in group play. Hopefully it comes in the next 2 games, but even if it doesn't, all that matters is winning the gold. Btw, did you see the news about the Lauri extension and renegotiation for 5 years/ $238 mil? Would've been nice to have him, but that seems like a lot.
