I think one guy on the SL team Knox could learn from is Jackson Rowe, who played for Santa Cruz last season. He's not the athlete nor ex-high draft pick Knox is, but Rowe executes the little things well: makes the open 3, moves without the ball, passes & defends a bit, rebounds, etc. Showed in his stats last season with SCW: In 30 games (18 starts) playing 30.8 minutes per game: 13.8 pts/7.1 rbs/2.6 assts/1.4 stls/1.5 blks on 49.4/35.6/78.8 splits Granted it's the G League, but teams needing to fill out their benches are looking for wings like him. With a similar height measurement, position and better athleticism, Knox could potentially thrive in a similar role to Rowe, but he has to do the little things better and shoot with more consistency at potentially a lower volume.

Such a damn shame and unfortunate for Bolden. Really wanted him to be taking Looney minutes. His defense and timing were elite man. We needed that especially cuz I don’t see Kerr giving Post any real opportunities to be effective. As for Plowden. We need that dude. A spark off the bench. Once Curry and Kuminga are off the court, who can put pressure on the rim or from the outside? We need a secondary scorer bad. I hope don’t let someone like the Kings poach him from us.

Knox said something interesting in an in-game interview where Draymond spoke to this summer league team about how no team is watching summer league looking for their next big scorer. Knox said it resonated with him and how he’s going to look to do all the small things more. i know the warriors don’t have a spot for him but i hope he figures it out and can make his way back to the league

Yea I like plowden a lot. I was just wondering about his size. I remember in a previous video alc was talking about one of them really highly, that's why I asked. I'll have to go back and look at Bolden even though he's not an option now but I think I always liked plowden more. he just passes the eye test

Yeah, Plowden’s got a 6’10” wingspan and had a 5% block rate in college which is fantastic for a guard/wing. And the coach, Vereen (who’s been awesome so far, and seems like a great guy) has been in Plowden’s corner as well. I think he’ll be a Dub in the very near future.

Ironically (based on his college career and with Santa Cruz last season) Yuri Collins plays more like ex-Dub Chris Chiozza: an undersized pass first PG who refused to take any shots unless he was wide open. Took until the end of the season for him to start taking more shots. It's not pretty but he's been more aggressive trying to score in SL than he did all last season. Whether it's him or the coaching staff encouraging him to look for his shot, I'm not sure. As for Plowden, he's no doubt in line for either a 2-way contract or a training camp invite, but we'll see how it works out. Slater reported that Post will most likely sign a 2-way contract and they're keeping the 15th spot open due to the hard cap. With Pat entrenched in the other 2-way spot, Beekman could be the odd man out if they wanted to keep Plowden. Lastly, prayers up for Bolden 🙏. Hope it's not what we think it is.

Kinda off topic kinda not, but I’m not dealing JK or Pods for Markannen. Under the contract Mark has now it seems to be one or the other, but Ainge has to pay him and that new contract won’t be as good a deal, and despite the posturing, he’s not rebuilding in 4 years a contender for a player who plays 60 games tops when he’s already 26-27. Deal Wiggins, we already see that if he isn’t getting touches he loses focus in the games, adding another option before him makes it worse. So wait for Ainge to pay Markannen and say “well now that he’s making THIS much the deal ain’t so good now, so here’s Wiggins and 4 picks, take it or be stuck with him for 4 years 25-30 mil your choice.”

Really sucks to see bolden probs out for the year, he had the defensive skills to give us a really good look off the bench. Plowden though man…. He has been one of the better prospects out of the summer league in a while. Gotta get him some run with the big squad
