Awful Coaching has come up with a pretty great click grift. A large part of every fan base wants to hear someone scream that their coach is the biggest dope to ever hold a clipboard. I think the whole punting thing is covering up the larger issue, which is that Draymond and Steph are slowing down. It may not be as obvious with them as with Klay and Loon but it's clear they don't have the energy after a couple of games. They both probably need to average fewer minutes or we will have more "fatigue losses" like this.

If we had someone like Lauri instead of Dario we'd be there, but we have too many roster spots taken up by "too old", "too small", "too slow" or "all of the above". I expect Lacob is well aware of this and is just counting the days until he can make the moves.

If fines there were an issue, they should've taken them. Feel like this happens too often, where we don't recognize a trap game. Steph had bursitis, that was enough to rule him out. Take the fines in protest rather than risk your guy's health, as you've said, injuries are way more likely when you're not focused and flaking.

Am I crazy to think that the warriors gave that game away on purpose. To give the Celtics a false sense of superiority and confidence. The defensive strategy didn’t make any sense, and the fact that Dray says they came up with it 15 mins before the left the locker room is very suspicious. Steve also said, we were not beating Boston today. It feels like that they came in ready to lose that game.

yeah eventually he is going to have to be able to at times lean on shooting. it may take a few summers to get there, but I think he wants it. Its not like Aaron Gordon or some of these other tweener Wings where it feels too unnatural. JK was never used as a big like a lot of those guys and thats what sets there archetype early

Well we don't have a single person on the team who can be counted on to score 30+ in any game except Steph. While a bunch of guys in the teens or 20s is great, another 30+ scorer is the hallmark of a contender. Hell, back in the day, Kyrie and Bron could both go for 40+ ... and often DID. In 2022 we had Poole who could do it, and honestly he deserves our lasting appreciation for that, even though he's wasted his potential since then.

I don’t normally get to watch any games live, as I’m in Ireland. I wanted to see if they could replicate the last huge win vs the Celts. Short breakdown was nice Alc but what stood out to me was that Kuminga couldn’t do anything to change the momentum. His iso game didn’t work against other strong wings (JT, JB, etc) and he couldn’t get others going. He’s still a few years away from being a difference maker. Now he’s a complimentary piece

Lol I get that this game was being treated as a "throwaway game" for them, but if that were the case, why even have Curry play? Just say his knee is sore or whatever, and scratch him completely. I was at my cousins baby shower all day so I wasnt going to watch this game anyway, but lol. Losing by 60 isnt even worth showing up. The only thing Im annoyed about is that they cant afford to lose games right now if theyre trying to avoid the play in. But whatever. Wont waste effort thinking about this game that much.

i'm grateful they won the ones they should have (raptors, knicks, wiz). 3-1 is great; and 3-1 with less effort is even better. with the bucks, bulls, spurs, and spurs coming up, will be interesting how they manage the next 4 games in 6 days.

This game should have been punted on, no starters, let them rest. Better than letting them get shit on for no reason. Ah well, maybe there were rules involved like you said, but it still feels bad to let them get disrespected. But this only reinforces that we're not a contender (and may never be again with this group). If they don't have the juice for multiple road games, hard to see how they can handle a 7 game series.

I'm not going make too much of this game. I think this was a collective F*** YOU to the league for screwing them over with the schedule. We have 15 back-to-backs (most in the league) after considering the postponements. I know we have a pretty soft schedule the rest of the way but it's essentially negated by the number of games we have remaining the rest of the way. The better alternative was probably to sit Draymond and Klay from the opening tip and rule out Steph for knee soreness after his first stint if Lacob wanted to avoid fines.

Lmao this loss was crazy but there was no way to hide their apathy for chasing the ghost of a finals from 2 years ago. On the other hand, I despise the experience sometimes because it means this team is on such a different rhythm than 29 other teams who care about day-to-day regular season bragging rights.

Yeah I watching it and it seem like they just wanted to rest. My first thought was ain’t no way dray leaving that man open we know to let him make tough shots rather than take open ones. But like you said fatigue makes cowards outta anyone.
