I think it does play a huge factor that Luka is essentially the first unit, and the entire roster can be the second unit. No real weak points in the rotation to attack.

I'm not saying that he couldn't use playing in the G league to improve, but with where the team is with injuries and age it feels really stupid to not have him in reserve.

I see your point about being short-handed last night, but that's not really what I'm getting at. If I'm solely looking back at minutes from last night, I'm reducing Draymond's minutes from 34m down to 25m. I think we all need to stop blaming individual players and acknowledge Kerr's poor coaching from last season into this season: - Lack of player development by refusing to give minutes to Moody and Kuminga last season. Instead, minutes were given to Ty Jerome and Anthony Lamb. - Lack of seeing that Kuminga was ready to make the jump this season. It took a player complaining to the media and threatening to leave to get minutes. What? - Poor coaching staff hires; from the coach who reviews and decides when to challenge calls to the coaching staff that looks a little too relaxed at times. Does anyone on the staff actually inform or challenge Kerr when he makes poor decisions? - Poor choices/decisions in the fourth quarter: Refusing to call timeouts and calling that "normal NBA play", putting players on the court who cannot hit free throws in crunch time. Putting rookies in during crunch time who are prone to making mistakes. - Scores of rotation changes last and this season and we have squarely landed on no Looney in the starting lineup. - Openly discusses with the media that he does not understand why the team had a bad road record last season and a bad home record this season. Kerr or his staff should know the exact math for this one. - Continues to play Draymond at center when it's clearly too big of a task for him to be doing this on a nightly basis. - Continues to praise Draymond's high basketball IQ when we all know getting suspended this season was low IQ and low EQ. - Has not been firm enough on players coming in conditioned and staying conditioned; I'm looking at Klay and Draymond. Get these two Curry's conditioning coach. - Has not been firm enough with Draymond since the punch onward. Same goes for the organization. - Continues to put three guards on the floor who are under 6'4" together. This usually occurs during the second or third quarter and yields very little. - Continued to play Dario this season when at times was unwatchable. Worse than JayMike. - Continuing to commit to small ball. Even after getting destroyed last year by the Lakers in the post season and seeing how we've matched up this season, everything seems to be just fine with Kerr. No desire to trade or play bigger against certain opponents. - More...

Excellent game summary. Kerr should be eating a large part of this blame pie. Draymond looks gassed and uninterested playing? Don't play him. Rookies in the fourth quarter creating turnovers? Sub them out. Team's getting blocked in the paint? Stop sending them in there. I'm concerned about Kuminga and I'm more concerned about Draymond the liability going into next season. This entire franchise relies on whether he decides to show up, doesn't get thrown out, or isn't suspended. How many more games do we win this season if DG is engaged? 5? 7?

Pods is really good man. Playing against Dallas a lot recently has made me think about how players like Luka (and Trae young etc.) thrive off of heliocentricity. And Pods could definitely play like that to a lesser degree, he's got all that in his bag. Says a lot about him that he's buying into playing a completely different way early into his career. We should never play senior citizens in back to backs in the 70+ game of the season. It's asking for disaster. We should just accept the fact if we don't have to play two play-in games it will be because our young players got us there
