It appear further than it is, and then yes you have to get comfortable with just a lead leg toe tap as opposed to a big 1-2 step.

Im the exact same way my man, for me its definitely depth perception because i aim right at the back of the rim and backboard and the lack of backboard messes with my head lol

Alch, you got any tips for shooting corner 3s? I personally find it a lot easier to shoot from the top of the 3 point line. Not sure exactly what the reason is. I theorize it might possibly be due to being able to "step it in to it" more so than I can from the corners, where the space is a lot more confined. Some other people on other basketball fourms said it was a depth perception thing. I'm curious to hear your thoughts
