🕑 Added 2023-10-21 17:04:29 +0000 UTCLangNet is a utility powered by OpenAI Whisper and DeepL. It incorporates speech recognition and an optional translation feature, allowing it to recognize speech in one language and translate it to another in real-time.
It is also possible to use LangNet with VRChat or any other audio source, for that you will need a virtual audio mixer such as Voicemeeter to route audio into a virtual microphone.

This EULA governs your acquisition and use of our LangNet software ("Software") directly from the rs189 shop or indirectly through a rs189 authorised reseller or distributor (a "Reseller").
The author shall not be liable for any damage caused by the use or inability to use the LangNet software ("Software").

Before using LangNet please read the end-user license agreement (EULA) in the EULA.txt text file.
- Instruction
1. Simply launch the run_bin.bat file or alternatively, you can manually run the app.py python file.
2. Select the model depending on your system specifications and VRAM available.
3. Select the input/original language.
4. Select the translation feature and language. (If you are using DeepL you will need to obtain an API key from https://www.deepl.com/pro-api?cta=header-pro-api/.)
5. Press load and wait for the model to be downloaded and loaded.
