Making Tlon

As long as you people are here and like these minis, I'll be doing this, and that's a healthy relationship I think!

PSA: Patreon doesn't ask you to confirm deleting your post; better make sure to be careful when reaching for the edit button. Anywho, I figured time would probably be your most limiting factor, but glad you liked the ideas, and that talk of Void-Squid-People's got me thinking about Spelljammer. Your fantasy stuff plugs a pretty noticeable gap in my STL subs and those other holes feel like they're mocking me ;P. Based on what I've seen so far, you're a creator I hope to support for a good long while, so helping you grow helps me.

I really, really love these ideas! They are widely different and archetypal enough to be a year worth of content. The idea of working on these and adding a new tier (or a secondary page) for them is seducing, but time is my main issue right now. If the page was to grow I could get some more help, but that's a different issue. Forgive me if this sounds a bit salesman-ish, but the more word of this page spreads, the more people join, the more I can work on more minis! What I can say is that I'll try to work on one or more of these ideas and see what comes out :) That said, I have been thinking about this and I believe that Eberron, Arcane style architecture and Void-Squid-People style buildings are all good possibilities for sets that are compatible with sci-fi and fantasy. Anything ancient from Lovecraft's mythos should also fit: one of the campaigns I am DMing right now has a whole section about Cthulhu, weird geometries and such. I'll make a note to add them to the next poll.

Could Eberron setting for dnd be a good middleground?

Oh, wow! Would you like a wishlist? Thing is: my preferred tabletop RPG is GURPS, so I'm always looking for a variety of modular terrain that isn't too setting specific (forgive my not using newlines, I can't figure out how): 1) Dystopian trans-humanist city streets. 2) Data fortress dungeon 3) Advanced alien civilization. 4) Variety of archetypally styled starship interiors (bonus points for exterior hulls). 5) Various hazardous environment habitats (Moonbase/SeaLab). 6) Post-apocalyptic junkyard town and/or ruined city. 7) Hospitals/Asylums (bonus points for cosmic horror) 8) Police stations/prisons 9) Malls/shopping centers. 10) Downtown. 11) Suburbs. 12) All the grim dark future you want. I could keep going, but I'm sure you can kind of see the picture. Where do you stand on the possibility of adding another tier where smaller sets in these veins compliment your current fantasy offerings?

Making Tlon

Yeah, I'd like to vary on the fantasy team sometime, but I fear that that would alienate some people. I thought for a while to do a full gothic cathedral with an industrial alternative as a tribute to the grim dark future (which is aesthetically one of my favorite games!). This could combine fantasy and futuristic, although in that specific setting. I am always in search of ideas though, so: what were you thinking about? :

Do you have any interest in branching out to modern and/or futuristic sets?
