🕑 Added 2018-08-22 16:01:20 +0000 UTCThe maiden-world of Mahlleleya was cursed by the fact that its only webway portal led to Sheavoimm, the satellite realm of Commorragh. The world suffered because of it for 5000 years since the Fall. For some reason, even innumerable losses of the commorites to the world's wildlife and Exodite defenders weren't enough to drive them off. It looked like they were obsessed with this world. In the end, the world was conquered but the commorites were unable to hold their prize. Mahlleleya quickly turned into a dead poisoned wasteland. But the descendants of the Exodites still live. They are highly valued at the slave markets of Sheavoimm. Emedaiya is one of the children of Mahlleleya robbed of her will and memories when she was young. Shatinodesh Ferozaliq bought her as a gift to one of his countless trueborn sons when he was only several decades old. A strange thing happened as the new master of Emedaiya was cursed by a rare trait among commorites. He was sentimental and quickly grow attached to his concubine. For the next 130 years, he cared for her and she followed him everywhere like a shadow. Until he asked her to wait for him. He left her in his chamber and left. She waited. It was days. Then years. Then decades. Her slave programming was eroding and for the first time in two centuries of her life, Emedaiya was pondering. For the first time since she can remember she acted because she wanted to. She tried to talk to her fellow Exodite descendant who was bringing her food. She was trained to hold a conversation for the amusement of her master but she never had her own opinion or even need to talk at all. But now she wanted to talk. The conversations were strange but she was content. She started thinking. She was thinking about herself, about the world around her. She tried to understand what is waiting for her in the future and what was in her past. The ability to make her own decisions was slowly returning to her. She kept thinking about her life and about the eventual return of her master. She didn't know or rather was afraid to think about how her master will react to her newfound free will. 40 years ago he asked her to wait. His name was never mentioned in the fortress ever since. She's still waiting but the doubt is filling her mind. Meanwhile, her master finally achieved his goal and is on the way back to her...
