🕑 Added 2025-07-24 20:47:45 +0000 UTCHello everyone! I know that not everyone gets picked every month and that can be frustrating. I wanted to let everyone know that we are working on bolstering the content that the $10 tier receives so that even if you don't get picked, you still feel like you got your money's worth.
In addition to awards, Games Rule and Horror Reel, the $10 tier is going to be the only place to get the video version of the Watcher Texas Ranger podcast (out now on Spotify/Apple pods, check it out!), as well as our new show BMR Reax, which is raw full length film reactions. That will help us get to movies on the list we may otherwise never get to.
Also, Ryan Mattila is working on an app, which you guys will use to submit for awards in the future, and that will be weighted in terms of how frequently you've been picked, etc. Right now, it's just a straight lottery, which will continue until Ryan finishes the app.
Finally - I know I've said this before, but please be brief in your awards. Two or three sentences, give your best take and tell a joke. Recently some of the paragraphs I've been receiving are huge, and I don't want to start skipping people's submissions. Please let me know if you have any questions - your feedback is always welcome.
The award assignments will be posted tomorrow for the August movies.
