I think man of steel is bad because of Christopher Nolan and not Zach Snyder. They used the Batman begins template for man of steel. Origin story, dark and depressing. Batman and Superman are two totally different characters and their films should reflect it. This was the last of the Nolanverse. Snyder really got control for BVS. But at the point the damage was already done because it couldn’t continue on the path it was going. Of course dc didn’t learn sooner that it was bad.

Should have clarified, movie is well made, but even the best piles of dog shit come out in a perfect pile. James is the only one talking any sense here. The new one should be fun and looks like what we both want, colorful, hopeful superman. Took me a couple days to finish this episode it was long and I just did 1800 miles on a motorcycle so Id been to exhausted to pay attention. Bob's rant was kind of funny, glad he got so upset over a 14 year olds unlimited budget for a superman movie being thought of as awful lol an honor. The others idk everyone the voices blend together couple of new guys, but man some guys really upset people don't like the edgy superman. I get it it was cool when I was 18 but as a 30 year old man it's pure cringe. And purely bad superman. Maybe I should kick back down to the $3 version from the $10 monthly lmao rustled some jimmies apparently
