It’s the Fab Four… Pills as John, Eric as Paul, Diego as George and Victor as Ringo…. - this Gnostic dimension of technocratic evil is crucial that Pills has been bringing out in his current work. Here we have an uber wealthy technocrat who has transcended all material need but becomes obsessed with conquering the final materiality - death, loss, contingency itself….. Thiel like Saruman seems genuinely unable to tell that he’s become the thing he claims to oppose.…it’s a psychotic break w ‘reality’ but then to ask… where is the gandalf figure in reality…? well it’s like the imaginary u point out in your video Pills, (“why has usa gone insane”) —-the movie or hollywood fiction that is the propaganda we were sold as ‘history’ thru our early education doesn’t exist. So there’s only really degrees of ‘technocratic gnosticism’ in terms of those who hold power. We all listening here r not Sarumans, but we have no power. And the presumption is in the lord of the rings world, if we do get power it will corrupt us into techno-gnostics…. I don’t even like Lord of the Rings…nor do I like Star Wars… and yet these are the ur texts of techno-gnostic billionaires like thiel and musk who authorize our world.

Yes, it is all driven by the fear of loss (onés own death as one configuration symbolically) . In a sense that is what drives modern capitalism. Elon and thiel share the same ketamine tinged capitalist theology. origins in prep skool in south African white $$$$? both guys r so crazy AND idiots and have unbelievable power—- at least it’s clear, the antichrist comes from apartheid white south africa….but still, there’s a real tension between these guys’ economic theology of anarcho capitalism, and maga …and then trump is kind of a third term, an impossible mediating term between maga and billionaire white south african style crack-up capitalism , but with his own transactional greed narcissism added into the mix… but trump has what neither of those two have: “charisma as an entertainer” or whatever creates his cult of personality power… these guys scare the audience away, but trump does the PR thing ¨naturally¨…so there’s power and then there’s power … and then there’s Greta Thunberg. Also, as Pills pointed out, his two progress models that ended…los alamos and the moon trip …were both state funded. Elon and Thiel are not against the state or government per se, they just want it to be privatized, and they want the liońs share of its money….to possess the trust to print legal tender. But also, they are also in competition with each other, of course. Bottom line, they could not fund their projects without the nation state govt funding it. Even they doń´t have as much money as the national government….(bc of our taxes)…such are the relations between big business and government from the beginning of modern capitalism. And i agree with y’all….thiel’s gnosticism…ím thinking: money buys the esoteric knowledge of truths that could liberate the soul from material existence.

I think recognising this man had the power to fund a party and ideology inside the Republican Party and wields increasing influence across the technology landscape makes him and this topic slightly less funny. The original interview is so surreal it’s hard to parody.
