🕑 Added 2024-06-18 20:03:00 +0000 UTCA green mist and a faint radiation sound will appear for an entire round before the radstorm hits, giving players time to prepare. Once the radstorm arrives, any player outside will slowly accumulate radiation, permanently reducing their maximum health. Each storm lasts for 5 minutes. To protect against radiation, players can use Rad-X, which prevents radiation for a specific duration, or RadAway, which completely removes radiation and restores the player's maximum health. Players can also use a special "Glowing Blood," consumable item, which combines the effects of both Rad-X and RadAway for an extended period.

Of course there will! Everything hud related still has yet to be setup. As for the "text popups" seen in the vid, these are just for the dev side of things to verify what part of the script is working correctly, they are not intended to be seen normally.

Hopefully there’ll be a tiny bar below your player icon indicating your health and your radiation. Adding a status icon with a little timer below it somewhere would also make telling the duration of a certain status effect less in-your-face than the text pop ups.
