It's just like video game Bosses. They insane with global damage and x10 hp bar when you fight them. Then as soon as you recruit them to the crew they do no damage and dying in 1 hit to everyone. I'm looking at you, Edea. Final Fantasy 8.

We all feel the same pain. On top of that, we needed to wait week to week for the stress. You are right, it was really hard to watch because we care so much for both of them, all of them. I'd never seen cheerful happy-go-lucky Luffy feel so much pain and depression. When I see Luffy cry like that, I broke down already. Feel you.
