The Fan
“If you want my help, I need more details. Who is Reina, and what exactly do you know about the seed thefts?” Stevens asked, sensing danger and wanting to proceed with caution.
“But… But… You really don’t know who Reina Canalla is? I can’t believe it! She’s the most fabulous erotic cartoonist in history. She was writing the script for the adventures of Xpace Agent Afrodita when the beautiful alien whisked her away from her bed in a babydoll nightie! The script is unfinished, and I’ll never know how the story ends! And most importantly… I’ll miss those horny scenes. Sob!” said the mysterious distorted voice.
“What?!” Stevens thought the caller was crazy. It made no sense! Although, perhaps in the madness, there was a kernel of truth. Was Reina really involved in the seed thefts? “Okay, so you’re a fan of Reina.”
“Absolutely! I was reading the script she was working on when Afrodita appeared and kidnapped her.”
“And why do you think Afrodita wanted to kidnap the cartoonist?”
“Obviously! Your appearance in the script wasn’t convenient for her.”
“Me?!!” Stevens wondered if he had stepped into an episode of The Twilight Zone. On the other hand, it was a complete mystery how the caller knew so many details about the case, including the name of the agent in charge. He pinched himself just to be sure. He was awake. Maybe it was time to quit sugar for life. Didn’t his doctor say sugar was the worst drug?
“Well, are you going to do something about it?!” The speaker’s urgent tone pulled him back to reality.
“What do you suggest?” Stevens focused on finding a clue in the chaotic conversation.
“You need to travel to Spain.”
“Oh, this is getting good!” Stevens automatically thought about serrano ham and red wine... mmm...
“I’ve already bought an airline ticket in your name. I’m sending it to your smartphone now.”
The notification dinged as the ticket arrived. Stevens stared in disbelief—his flight was in half an hour!
“I’ll send you more details once you arrive in Barcelona.” The mysterious caller hung up.
Stevens, still with his mouth hanging open, struggled to process what had just happened. He finally snapped out of it. Explaining this to his boss was going to be quite the challenge. On the other hand, the agency owed him a few days of vacation.
The Alien's Gadget
Reina was tied to a chair, and Afrodita stood with her back turned, fiddling with some strange objects. It appeared they were in a secluded cove inside the mountains, though Reina couldn't be sure. What she did know was that Afrodita was out of control.
“If only I had Jezzabel Avery’s skills to untie these ropes,” Reina thought as she tried in vain to loosen the knots with her fingers. It was proving to be very difficult—almost impossible!
Afrodita turned and glared at her.
“I didn’t want to go this far, but you’re so meddlesome. For the last time, are you going to change the script?”
“Afrodita, listen, you’re not only clever but incredibly beautiful. You have to understand that stories need challenges…”
“You leave me no choice,” Afrodita said, brandishing a strange object, even more unusual than her laser pistol.
Reina squinted. Without her glasses, she could barely see in the dimly lit room. It looked like... No, it couldn’t be... Yes, it definitely seemed to be a ‘Satisf*er.’
“Oh, wait, wait… What are you doing with that?” Reina exclaimed.
“Torture you?” Afrodita said with a cold expression in her eyes.
“Wait! Maybe I could alter the script a bit? How about Mark Stevens and you becoming lovers?”
Afrodita raised an eyebrow and powered on the threatening object. The soft murmur intensified into a stronger buzzing.
“You dominating Stevens?!” Reina cried out.
Afrodita smiled but didn’t turn off the sucker.
“Would you like that?” Reina asked, closing her eyes in one last plea.
“No.”
BZZZZZZZ BZZZZZZZ BZZZZZZZ
The Torture
Stevens was devouring a Serrano ham sandwich with obvious pleasure, while the Uber driver glanced at him furtively through the rearview mirror. The driver had picked him up from the Barcelona airport and was now heading toward the Santa Maria de Montserrat Abbey. The serrated silhouette of the mountain loomed majestically on the horizon, adding a touch of magic to this strange story.
The Uber stopped near the monastery’s main entrance. Stevens looked around, unsure of his next move. A ping on his smartphone provided the answer:
“Go right and look for the stairs. At the bottom, you’ll find a grotto hidden behind some foliage,” the message read.
“Here we go,” Stevens muttered to himself, gripping his service pistol.
He located the grotto, a peculiar buzzing sound emanating from within. Stealthily, he approached and peered inside…
What he saw was the most bizarre sight of his journey. A striking half-naked woman with pink hair was holding an object that resembled a ‘Satisfyer.’ Another stunning woman was tied to a chair, making strange faces. The pink-haired woman was sucking the earlobe of the tied-up woman with the object.
“Stop! Stop, please! This is too much!” Reina cried out. The earlobe was indeed an extremely erogenous area, or perhaps a ticklish one.

What should Stevens do now to resolve the case?
1. Join them. Stevens enters the grotto and exclaims, “Hey, ladies, I could show you how it’s done. Interested in seeing some Earthling tricks with that thing?”
2. Knock out Afrodita. Stevens positions himself behind the distracted pink-haired woman and knocks her out with the butt of his pistol. “Don’t worry, ma’am, the cavalry has arrived,” he reassures the stunned cartoonist.
3. Hide inside. Stevens stealthily moves along the wall, staying concealed in the shadows. He hides behind a ledge, determined to learn more about the mysterious pink-haired woman and her intentions.
4. Run away. No way. The Serrano ham sandwich was delicious, but this situation is too risky. Stevens decides that facing a woman armed with a “Satisfyer” and a phallic laser gun is not worth it.
