🕑 Added 2024-08-05 01:10:24 +0000 UTCThe Public chapters are approaching the point where I'm not completely happy with the story. I will be making edits before those chapters get posted, likely over the next few days. Many of them will be small, and I'll try to keep a change log so I can post them all at the end of my edits. I'll also modify the chapters with the edits so you can find them if you'd like.
For now though, one of the edits will come up next chapter, so I need to mention it now.
I firmly intend to include a scene where Sakura loots a more modern shotgun in the Resident Evil Mansion. Looting a random shotgun is a very Resident Evil tradition, and I like the idea of Tenten getting one instead of just already having a bunch of stuff she made. I mean she will still have random stuff but...
The idea being that the guns in FPS in the setting are more advanced than what is actually around, so Tenten having a modern shotgun is like a big deal.
I'm going to add a whole scene of them looting that, and possibly several other items to the Hallway chapters, and I just don't want everyone going "WTF? When did that happen" tomorrow when it comes up. I mean, you still probably will, but...
Anyway, yeah, I'm just not super happy with the lack of drops and loot and several other aspects of those chapters, and I have the time to fix them before they become public, so I thought I'd inform you I'm going to do that.
See you all on this matter in a few days probably, with a change list.

Yeah that is a bit odd.

Rewriting the chapters would be dumb. I'm just going to go through a lot of them, do some basic edits, and add in some stuff I think they need. The biggest thing for me is drops. This dungeon has no freaking, drops. That's gross, that's like half the point of a dungeon!

Thanks for the heads up! Honestly I was waiting for somthing like this when you first mentioned the gap between chapters. Its not a bad thing to do rewrites on a smaller scale, its only when you get bogged down into rewrite hell and can't move forwards that its an issue. The change log is a good call tho.
