I've started a new illustration, and here’s the sketch! The concept is a semi-self-portrait, inspired by the lofi girl/study girl aesthetic—I thought it would be a fun idea. The background is a mix of real and imagined elements, where aesthetics took precedence over reality. If I had stuck to the actual view from my window, you'd be looking at a construction site... and no one wants that!
I created the line art in Procreate, printed it on watercolour paper, and am now painting it with poster colours. My goal is to finish it before the Leipzig Book Fair next week. Unfortunately, a nasty cold has slowed me down, but I’m determined to push through because I really love how the sketch turned out!
