Patch Report 2/15/22 and Mod Updates
🕑 Added 2022-02-16 01:54:00 +0000 UTCHappy patch day, everyone! All of my mods seem to have been unscathed by the patch today, however there were a few existing bugs to tackle and a few new additions, so here are the updates:
Lifetime Quirks has been updated:
- Added eye drops from Basemental to the pharmacy menu
- Fixed a bug where Sims could not visit the doctor or pharmacy on lots with an elevator
- Added Portuguese translation by NathanSimss

Keep Sims in Home Region has been updated:
- Fixed an issue where hired employees of a restaurant would not show up to work.
- Added a soft filter to restaurants as a whole. Previously, restaurants were always bypassed by the mod. Now, the game will try to use NPCs from the local neighborhood first, but will take Sims from other worlds if it can't find a good match. The family requirements for some restaurant customer types are pretty specific, so in a new save file or low population world you will still see plenty of tourists.
- Added a soft region filter to Magnolia Promenade. The game will now try to use NPCs from the local neighborhood, Willow Creek, and Newcrest first, but will take Sims from other worlds if it can't find a good match.

Everything else should be good to go. Let me know if you have any issues! This is my first experiment with soft filter for Home Regions, and I really like the overall effect of it so far. I'm still interested in making that a toggle for all filters, and I may even make it the default setting.
