“Dungeon Master?” Aisha frowned lightly.
“Yes.” Levia nodded clearly. “One that seems to ironically be a Witch.”
“A Witch?” It was my turn to act surprised and confused. “I thought it would be closer to a Necromancer or something like that.”
“While we do not exactly specialize in that field of magic, there are rituals revolving around rising and managing the dead in our repertoire. The altars we stumbled on solidified me in my assumption. It also explains the presence of the crystals we destroyed. The altars are part of a grand ritual to animate the undead. They are all connected to a single place, which I should be able to trace back, pinpointing the most important location in this Dungeon.”
“Any chances that they are linked to the source of this corruption? I asked, rubbing my chin.
“It is highly probable,” she replied.
“It’s pretty obvious. Where else would our ticket out be if not in the eye of the storm?” Aisha snickered. “Things never go the easy way.”
“This is going to be a pain in the ass… Even more than the fucking tree gundam since we are also dealing with a pilot this time…” I shook my head. “But, I think we had enough excitement for today. Let’s get back, lick our wounds, relax a little, and meet later to discuss everything with a calm mind. No reason to remain in this creepy corridor.”
