Probably no way to make the aegis mobile, and they didn’t want to constrict themselves to one location, which is mostly underground. They have wings and would have wanted to maintain the freedom to fly around, even with how bad things were getting.

I haven’t read the chapter yet but a question jumped into my head last chapter or the one before: Instead of building the arks why didn’t they just turn on the Aegis? Back in the day I mean. The older generation would have known how to turn it on if they could make huge floating cities out of the mega city right? I mean the time it took to create them couldn’t have been quick…. Unless I’m missing something?

Talking about a massive distraction for the girls!!! I wonder is Aura was influenced too?
