Take note that the Queen isn't straight up denying everything they say. Naturally, we will learn more over time. It might not be too accurate to judge from just the initial part :v

Wouldn’t it be messed up if the queens of this group (or single queen, I forget how long they live) know the truth but some kind of past grudge/disagreement has kept them from telling their people the truth? Also, whether they have been or not, imagine how many more colonies like this could potentially exist? Would suck if a new war between land and sky starts up after the scourge are defeated because of lies and/or resentment.

Great chapter but some things don't really make sense, Bryn is recognized as a valkyrja but they don't acknowledge that there are any outside of the cave, even though she is healthy and probably wearing a suit of armor while all the valkyrjas in the cave are malnourished and almost naked. These two points are basically opposites and seem unlikely

Well, the evolved part could be assumed by those valkyrjas. I might change it a little to better portray their thoughts.

It should not be to hard to convince them that there is someplace outside that is safe. If the Valkyrie in the cave are super pale, the ones from the outside would at least be a little tanned from working or flying outside. Unless they think they are somehow slaves of the scourge. Also they mentioned "evolved monster of the scourge" are there more than just the base type then? Can't wait for the next chapter! Each one just makes me more excited to see what happens next.
