Who? Why? This isn't BIAW, and there hasn't been any indication of any elf wanting to join Ast's harem. Only Grea, Sylvia and Bryn, and not all of those are entirely guaranteed (though they all seem like they'll join sooner or later). He's known Suanori for a while, but every indication is that their relationship is entirely platonic, and I don't recall him having a particularly close relationship to any other elf.

My guess is similar. Idiot bastard son is still behind it, but the goal was to show how heroic he is defending the town (since this started before Asti's arrival.) He's incompetent, of course, and thus largely goes unnoticed in the defense, and Asti's arrival has thrown a rather monumental wrench in what little plan there was.

I like where this is going, but I hope that the Imaldi/Cynthia duo doesn't have anything to do with any of this. Still waiting for them to show up somewhere.

Maybe even working with rogue elves but yea it's either that or he is even dumber than we thought

Nope I get it now. The idiot bastard son is all behind it. He found it and knows some of the rituals for summoning and is trying to make Asti and Tina look bad. And probably start a war with the elves.
