Horizon Forbidden West and Atomic Heart fixed
🕑 Added 2024-07-03 17:45:57 +0000 UTCRelease 12.6.0 of the R.E.A.L. VR mod, attached below, fixes the two VR conversions that had been damaged from recent game updates.
Horizon Forbidden West: The latest official update, with support to AMD FSR 3.1, broke my patch to rescale the HUD, making the game basically unplayable in VR. It was an unexpectedly hard fix, but in the end I managed to make the HUD resizable again, and with the small added bonus that now you can control the horizontal and vertical scale independently.
Remember that in Horizon Forbidden West any changes to the HUD scale (made using the sliders found in the "HFW" tab of the mod overlay) won't be applied until you change the resolution. Atomic Heart: Some users reported that after the latest game update they were unable to access the white machines that allow you to take over cameras and display the world map (the game showed a black screen instead of the map), and that some terminals were impossible to navigate, even when switching to the 2D virtual screen mode. Release 12.6.0 should fix both problems. However, keep in mind that displaying the 3D world map for the first time when you use the machine could still require a brief flick back of the left thumbstick in order to reposition the camera in the correct place. Frame gen won't work with Luke's mods unfortunately. You are essentially asking some other software to generate extra frames on top of software that is already generating or at least alternating frames itself :) A couple people have said they used lossless scaling successfully, but I have never gotten an answer as to how they did so. When I tried it, I just got worse performance or nothing. I wouldn't recommend trying that either for now.

Hi Brandon, actually playing HFW in VR, it is so good! I have just a short question: can I use Nvidia Frame Generation or is this breaking the mod? If not, is it worth using it, is the increase in fps worth it? Will it lower the Image quality or make the Image jitter more? Thanks in advance
