MGSFV?! Chapter 400. Twisted Kevin Simps; Looks Just Like Kalpas
🕑 Added 2025-10-28 23:00:05 +0000 UTCMGSFV?! Chapter 400. Twisted Kevin Simps; Looks Just Like Kalpas
Some viewers in the stream were, for various reasons, extremely confident in Kevin.
They believed Kevin would never lose—unless someone truly managed to surpass Finality.
And if that happened?
Well, wouldn’t losing be a good thing for Kevin, too?
So now, whenever someone stepped up to fight Kevin, they were actually kind of thrilled.
"Great, great! Hopefully someone gives Kevin a good beatdown!"
…What kind of twisted Kevin simps are these?
Of course, before they got to see Kevin get clobbered by who-knows-who,
They’d have to first watch Theresa get—
Pummeled by a mentally youthful, five-thousand-year-old hunk vs. a fifty-year-old idol who still loves bitter melon juice (bushi).
Is this the collapse of morality or the distortion of humanity?
Join us for the “climactic duel” between two world-class organization leaders…
Ahem. Back to the story.
Just like those who trust Kevin unwaveringly—
Kevin always knew what he had to do.
He wouldn’t be swayed by anyone’s words.
“How you weigh the choices is up to you.
But I do not believe that Earth’s civilization has any other path left.”
His voice was calm as he slowly summoned Judgment of Shamash.
“Theresa, I see anger in your eyes, but you don’t know who to aim it at.”
“In that case, let me test your resolve.”
He looked at Theresa and issued an invitation.
“This is the Kaslana Stigma Space.
Here, every ‘Kaslana’ power is perfectly equal.”
“Come—challenge me.
Battle is the truest form of deliberation.”
It looked like Kevin didn’t want to say more…
But the fact that he was saying this much was strange in itself.
Some players even felt like they sensed… anticipation in his words.
But before they could reflect further—
The battle started.
Kevin swung twice—
Theresa lost half her HP immediately.
Players: ???
Grandpa’s that strong on Hard Mode?!
They instantly focused up and scrambled to dodge,
Landing hits on Kevin whenever they could.
But Kevin…
No matter the attack, he just strolled around,
Completely unbothered,
And would casually draw Shamash for massive damage.
Players could only mash dodge to survive.
Whether Theresa looked embarrassed or not,
their own gameplay sure did.
“Do you know why birds can fly?”
“…Because when the meteor of Finality fell in the Cretaceous,
Only the free birds escaped their destined extinction.”
(We’ll ignore the irony that better-flying proto-birds also got wiped out.)
Still, this metaphor was probably just a way to say:
It’s fate. It’s luck.
A species’ destiny depends on its efforts—
But also on the tide of history.
Ahem. Let’s not get sidetracked.
Kevin’s a man of battle. Examples and metaphors don’t suit him.
But the point is:
He was saying the Stigma Plan would let civilization become a bird that flies through Finality.
Maybe not high—but far enough.
So—
He raised his left hand and suspended Theresa in midair, frozen.
Now he would show just how powerful he,
and the Stigma Plan,
had become.
And if no one could match him…
He clenched his fist.
Theresa was blasted away by invisible force.
“...It’s over.”
“Huff… huff…”
Theresa gasped for breath and forced herself back up.
“Impressive willpower.
Pity your thinking is just as stubborn.”
【Kevin’s doing a self-intro now? Who’s more stubborn than you?!】
【He even said "just as stubborn" himself, LOL.】
【Classic Kaslana traits.】
Theresa took a deep breath.
As her pulse settled, she realized—
Her injuries weren’t as bad as she’d expected.
Kevin wasn’t bluffing—
In this space, all Kaslana powers were equal.
She frowned. “If that’s all you’ve got…
You’ll probably be stuck ‘deliberating’ with me all day.”
“No need.”
Kevin gently shook his head.
“Talking too much with the obstinate is a waste of time.”
Says the guy who knows how stubborn he is.
He doesn’t want anyone wasting time trying to change him either.
“Theresa Apocalypse—”
Looking at the still-standing Theresa,
Kevin decided to unleash more power.
He didn’t know how to guide others.
He once made Kosma cry four times in a single day.
Calling him a good "teacher" would be… generous.
What Kevin does—
Is raise the bar higher when someone catches up.
That way, if Theresa—or anyone—wants to keep up,
They must chase him.
Until he reaches his destined limit.
Maybe someone will surpass him.
If not—
“Prepare to receive a strike imbued with Finality.”
With Kevin’s words—
A CG sequence began.
Black flames engulfed Shamash in Kevin’s hand.
Overwhelming power radiated from him.
Though this was the Kaslana Stigma Space—
Where all Kaslana powers were supposedly equal—
This power clearly had nothing to do with “Kaslana.”
【Look closely! This is Finality-enhanced Dusk of Oblivion!】
【How many forms does Shamash have???】
【It kinda looks like Kalpas now.】
【?? It does look Kalpas-esque. That palette...】
“No… impossible…”
Unlike the stunned players—
Theresa, facing this power, nearly suffocated.
The sheer pressure—
“This… this unimaginable power… it’s… it’s…”
Finality!
Kevin had already obtained its power?!
Kevin ignored her shock and coldly delivered judgment:
“Let me, as the representative of Finality, show you true terror.”
He swung.
“I am merely Kevin.
‘Kaslana’ means nothing to me now.”
The entire Stigma Space trembled from his blow.
Terrifying energy poured forth,
Like the apocalypse itself.
And this…
Was just a swing.
Theresa had no time to think.
She raised Judah, pouring all her strength into defense.
Judah, my old friend—just one more time…
Judah: “Nah, I’m out.”
Boom!
Theresa was sent flying.
【THERESA!!!】
【JUDAH!!!】×n
【?????】
Just then—
Another “Kevin” appeared behind Theresa,
catching her gently.
“…I am the Will of the Kaslana Stigma.”
He turned from Theresa to the other Kevin.
“Kevin, you leave me no choice.”
…Huh?
What’s going on?
Is he about to… fight Kevin?
As players started to suspect this—
A triumphant BGM swelled again.
They focused up, anticipating a big moment.
Maybe a full-on battle between the Will of the Stigma and Kevin?
However…
The BGM wasn’t for the Will of the Stigma.
Kevin walked forward, flames beneath his feet.
“You can’t protect her.”
He raised Shamash overhead.
The music reached its climax.
Burning light pierced the sky—
Turning all clouds into a sea of fire.
【Wait… is Kevin planning to slash both Theresa and the Will of the Stigma?!】
【I'm picturing a co-op block scene right now.】
But the next scene wasn’t what anyone imagined.
As the fire blazed—
Kevin’s body began to shed human form.
Horns sprouted.
A single wing unfolded.
Multiple Honkai Beast features fused, clashed, and melded into him—
The true power of “Chimera.”
And yet…
There was an eerie beauty.
Or rather—
【Kevin’s form is kinda… spicy—I mean, COOL.】
【Kevin looks amazing.】
【Won’t this transformation tear his body apart? That’s like 7 different Honkai genes!】
【Wait—I remember this scene from that PV! The “Kevin vs Kevin” shot!】
【True… but it’s reversed from what I guessed. Turns out the flying one was Kevin, and the rescuer was the Will.】
Kevin’s new form dazzled players.
But it also made the situation much more dangerous.
He raised his weapon toward the two.
“You know nothing of the Honkai.”
The Will of the Stigma stepped forward, releasing Theresa.
“And you… know nothing of your descendants.”
【Oof. Savage.】
【The Will watched every generation of Kaslana grow up.
Kevin, on the other hand, clearly doesn’t want to know—or care.】
【Forget that—aren’t you curious how this will unfold?!
Will there be a full cutscene fight like Ulysses vs. Kevin?】
“Hm?”
Elysia softly muttered, intrigued.
Good point.
A major plot moment like this?
No way Otto would let it slide.
At the very least—
It should be like Durandal vs. Kevin, right?
“I’m kinda hyped…”
She tapped.
A prompt appeared:
Will of the Stigma – Normal Attack: Tap Basic Attack to slash with Dusk of Oblivion, dealing Fire DMG.
There was even a preview image—
Kevin in his base form, swinging Shamash.
“Hmm???”
Not just Elysia—
All players quickly realized:
Will of the Stigma – Special Attack: Tap Ultimate to unleash Honkai Beast power, dealing Ice DMG.
Another prompt.
Another Kevin image.
Yup. It’s that.
Sure enough—
Battle started.
The enemy: Chimera Kevin.
The playable character: Will of the Stigma!
【So basically… we’re playing as Kevin?】
【Controllable male character?!】
【Kevin’s entering the banner pool?! (fog)】
【You did it, MiHoYo. We can play as Kevin.】
【Deploying in Kevin form!】
【Wasn’t this the “Demon Kevin” form Kosma mentioned to Mei?】
【Holding the controller, I feel invincible.】
Players rushed to control the Will and fight Demon Kevin.
“Once, I was like you—
An emotionless observer executing mechanical orders.”
“I hated your fate.
Hated their weakness…”
“Until a woman who had lost the name ‘Kaslana’—
Her unyielding resolve made me see my own foolishness.”
“Kevin… your descendants are not anyone’s pawns.
They are not dispensable lives—”
“—You have no right to decide their deaths.”
【He’s talking about Durandal, right?】
【After she woke up the Will of the Stigma, he understood what Kaslana truly meant.】
【No wonder he stepped in now.】
By watching his actions,
It’s clear—
The Will is not who he once was.
He showed Theresa the full truth of the Stigma Plan—
But never took away her free will.
Like how he awakened Durandal’s power,
He now stands beside modern Kaslanas
as a guardian, like Su of the Hengsha Plan.
Of course, others see it differently.
【This whole scene could just be Kevin’s inner conflict—two ideologies clashing.】
【Everyone’s interpretation is valid (nods.jpg)】
As some players fought fiercely against Demon Kevin—
Others passionately debated.
Kevin coldly replied after the Will’s speech:
“Prepare yourself.
You now face Chimera.”
【Not worried. Holding Grandpa in my hands, I feel unstoppable. His Flash-Attack combos are so fun. Just like Augment Nyx!】
Some were riding the high of flashy gameplay…
Until Kevin reminded them what true power looks like.
No matter what they tried—
Kevin dodged with ease,
Even blocking attacks with stylish Shamash parries.
His cold, ancient gaze never left them.
And despite the equal size models—
The pressure was overwhelming.
This one-sided fight didn’t last long.
Kevin raised his left hand—
Used the same move he used on Theresa.
Froze the Will midair.
Clenched his fist.
BOOM.
“Obliteration.”
【???】
【Not gonna lie, I almost misheard that as “instant ramen.”】
【Who brings memes to this serious moment? (serious face)】
Thankfully, in-game Kevin was as serious as ever.
His strength was simply beyond belief.
His attacks made the entire space quake—
Deep gouges split the earth.
The Will could only retreat while fending off the blows.
Kevin suddenly pulled back.
His gaze briefly swept to Theresa.
He said:
“If they can’t even withstand this—
Then their so-called ‘will’ is meaningless.”
The Will’s expression changed.
As if he sensed something.
But rather than hesitate,
He took advantage of the moment.
Wielding Shamash—
He unleashed a storm of slashes on Kevin.
Countless strikes in mere seconds.
However—
The damage was…
-1 -1 -1 -1…
Players: …
【World’s Greatest Art: The Will of the Stigma Gently Exfoliating Kevin.】
【So cursed.】
【I’m putting this move in my Honkai-inspired fanfic. I’m calling it “Starburst Painful Slash” (lol)】
【Theresa in the back: ???】
