“‘Mr. Otto’... do you mean...?”
Elysia realized something as well.
“I think... a certain great magician just couldn’t hold back anymore and wants to start her ‘surprise’ magic show.”
Hokuto retracted his gaze and looked at the flickering livestream feed with a half-certain, half-guessing tone.
Hearing this, Elysia blinked, and slowly, her face showed a look of anticipation.
What would happen next?
Honestly... she was “just a tiny bit” curious.
“......”
【What’s wrong with the livestream? Isn’t anyone fixing it?】
【Maybe it’s a special segment or something?】
【The screen’s changing—something’s coming? Is it coming?!】
They didn’t have to wait long.
After a wave of distortion, the livestream screen cleared up again.
Dun dun dun-dun~~
First came a bombastic, over-the-top music cue—classic signature of a certain someone.
Then...
Vill-V appeared on camera.
She threw her arms wide open in a confident pose:
“Adorable audience~~ Ta-dah! The Great Magician is here!!”
【It’s Vill-V?!】
【Over-the-top certified.jpg】
【What’s she planning now?】
“Mm...”
Vill-V seemed to catch the barrage and nodded in satisfaction.
“Looks like everyone’s very surprised by my appearance! Totally didn’t expect it, right?”
“This... is the secret to magic! Unexpected 【surprises】!”
Elysia: “......”
“Actually, I already guessed it.”
She mumbled this not too loudly.
Given the situation—and Hokuto’s hint—it really wasn’t hard to guess that Vill-V was behind the livestream interference.
“Eh? Didn’t expect our adorable, charming Miss Fairy to be not very impressed with my entrance ‘magic’.”
The moment Elysia’s voice dropped, Vill-V shot back a reply.
She seemed to be watching Elysia’s reaction in real time.
Still, let’s be real...
Hacking a livestream... that sounds a lot more like technology than magic, right?
Calling this “magic” feels—well, more than a little off.
But then again, considering it’s Vill-V... it suddenly becomes understandable.
Her performances have always been flashy, odd, and unique.
While silently critiquing this in their hearts,
Vill-V made her next move.
“But that’s alright... because what comes next will be a 【finale performance】 brought to you by yours truly.”
She took off her hat and spoke.
“After such a long stream, isn’t everyone feeling a bit tired?”
“Or maybe... the ending of this livestream feels a bit too bland?”
“To me, the curtain call is a significant and special moment—it can’t just end like this.”
“So now, allow me to lift your spirits and make sure no one walks away with regrets!”
【......】×n
【Seeing Vill-V act like this in real life, I honestly can’t tell the difference between her and her in-game self.】
Some viewers unfamiliar with Elysia’s usual streams expressed genuine surprise.
Soon, her long-time fans chimed in:
【Newcomers. Clearly haven’t watched enough of Miss Fairy’s streams.】
【That’s just Vill-V being Vill-V.】
【Maybe the writer used her real-life personality as reference when writing the script?】
【Is that so? Makes sense now.】
Barrage comments flew by.
Elysia poked Hokuto next to her and asked:
“‘Mr. Otto,’ what do you think Vill-V’s going to do?”
“Not sure...”
Hokuto first shook his head, then added:
“But we should find out very soon. With Vill-V’s personality, she won’t stall.”
“Hmm... true.”
Elysia turned her attention back to the screen.
Vill-V stepped back from the camera, revealing the wide space behind her.
It looked like she had gone somewhere suburban.
“Now it’s time for Vill-V’s special segment! I’ve prepared a super-duper grand fireworks display just for you!”
“Huh? Fireworks?”
Elysia sounded slightly surprised.
“No need to be shocked, Elysia.”
“You said the fireworks in the game were beautiful, right? Then getting to see them in real life too—shouldn’t that make you happy?”
Clearly, Vill-V was still monitoring Elysia’s side.
Elysia blinked.
Before she could respond, Vill-V proudly waved her hand.
“Alright then! The grand and magnificent finale begins~~”
“Happy birthday to Honkai Impact 3rd!”
As her words fell, a crowd came running in from afar—led by Kosma and Griseo, followed by... Kalpas.
And others.
The next moment—
Boom!
Fireworks shot into the sky, as if trying to pierce the clouds and touch the moon, then burst in radiant splendor.
【Sitting at home, watching cloud fireworks through a monitor... how relaxing!】
【“A Meteor Reversing Its Course”】
【This is usually when an anime ends, you know (doge)】
【Isn’t today the end of Elysian Realm? ...Congratulations on the grand finale of Elysian Realm! Happy birthday to Honkai Impact 3rd!! (loud) (tearful)】
【Congratulations on the grand finale of Elysian Realm! Happy birthday to Honkai Impact 3rd!!】×n
The barrage comments gradually unified.
Everyone shared the same emotion—marveling together, reminiscing together...
Seeing this, Hokuto’s mouth curved slightly under his mask.
Honestly, seeing Vill-V bring everyone together like this to celebrate Honkai Impact 3rd with a spectacular finale...
He was deeply moved.
Beside him, Elysia’s eyes gleamed as she watched the waves of fireworks bloom.
She clapped gently toward the dazzling display.
“Congratulations on the grand finale of Elysian Realm! Happy birthday to Honkai Impact 3rd!!”
“And may it always be this way—everyone pursuing their dreams, everyone living happily ever after~♪”
“Making a wish, huh? That’s so like Elysia... and something she would definitely say.”
Eden appeared at the edge of the screen, instantly stirring a noticeable spike in the birthday wishes flooding the stream—
Proof of her real-life popularity.
“Want to join in, Eden? Maybe your wish will come true~~”
Elysia smiled and invited her.
“Well then...”
Eden smiled fondly and, following Elysia’s lead, said warmly:
“May this moment last forever, and may tomorrow shine like gold.”
“And you call me classic Elysia?” Elysia teased with a wink. “You’re no different—classic Eden.”
“Pfft~~” Eden chuckled.
Then—
“Wah!! A great magician cannot allow others to steal her spotlight!”
Vill-V butted in, as flamboyantly as ever.
And then...
She made a wish.
“Then... I wish every noon from now on will be showtime! Everyone, be sure to come watch~~”
No one else reacted much—except Pardofelis, who immediately facepalmed.
“Spare me, Vill-V sis.”
“I just want to take a peaceful nap every noon.”
She clasped her hands together seriously, muttering like she feared Vill-V’s wish might come true.
Losing her nap time would be a real crisis.
After all, she was just a ‘cat’ who wanted sunshine, naps, and a 【simple】 life.
And perhaps influenced by everyone—
Others on Vill-V’s side started joining in.
Hua, for instance, looked at the fireworks and softly said:
“May Honkai Impact 3rd continue smoothly.”
“Hmm... Everyone’s making wishes now.”
Griseo touched her chin with a cute expression—
The kind that Elysia would definitely smother with hugs if she were closer~~
“Griseo, do you want to make a wish too?” Kosma, beside her, asked.
“My... wish.” Griseo shook her head. “I can’t think of one.”
She felt her life was already good—simple, happy, together with everyone.
Nothing she particularly wanted to change.
So she looked to Kosma instead, curious:
“Kosma, do you have any wishes?”
“Well...”
Kosma earnestly pondered her question.
Wish to get into a top university?
No, felt too far off for now.
Right now the most important thing...
He furrowed his brow, thinking hard—
Then suddenly snapped his fingers.
Ah! Got it!
He wished to snag every limited edition power container hero model that came out.
Hmm...
Was that too greedy?
Kosma quickly hesitated again.
Maybe wishing for a lucky single-pull miracle would be more realistic?
Wait.
Wouldn’t that sound too childish?
Kosma: “......”
After running through dozens of thoughts, Kosma finally came back to himself—
And saw Griseo watching him with innocent curiosity.
He opened his mouth...
But in the end, just let out a soft sigh.
“Forget it.”
“Griseo, I can’t think of one either.”
“Really? I thought you had so many wishes you didn’t know which one to choose.”
Griseo blinked cutely.
“I know, Kosma always mutters about figures, like—”
“Shine bright, 【Dazzling Cleaver】! Illuminate the long night in the name of the 【Resonator】—!”
Kosma: “......”
“Every time he finishes his homework, Kosma practices on the balcony. He works really hard.”
Griseo genuinely praised him.
Kosma: “......”
“...Griseo, can we not talk about that in front of everyone?”
Hua: “Ahem...”
Sakura: “Ahem ahem ahem...” (barely holding laughter)
Kosma scratched his head awkwardly, already planning to pack his bags and flee the Golden Courtyard.
To change the topic—
He looked to the still-calm Su.
“Su, do you have a wish?”
“Mm...”
Su lifted his head with eyes closed, gazing at the dazzling fireworks.
A moment later—
He spoke:
“May the sick be healed, and may the world be free from pain.”
After Su came Kevin.
“I have three wishes.”
“First, I wish for work to go smoothly.”
“Second, I hope to be with Mei...”
Be with Mei—what?
No one could hear clearly.
Before they could ask, Kevin had already moved on:
“Third, I hope everyone’s wishes come true.”
And then the rest followed suit—
Each sharing their wish in turn.
Of course... not everyone was honest.
For example—
“Kalpas, how about you say something too?”
As expected of Elysia—she kept tabs on everyone, even across the screen.
She noticed Kalpas hadn’t said a word.
Reminded by her, everyone turned to look at Kalpas, curious what wish he might have.
But Kalpas turned away expressionlessly.
“Don’t look at me. I’ve got nothing to say.”
“Hmm?” Aponia mused. “So... you’re saying you’re content with your life?”
“???”
Kalpas suddenly breathed faster, then replied in a low voice:
“Please shut up.”
【Brother Jie even said ‘please.’ So gentle.】
【Why are you still wearing your mask in real life, Kalpas??】
【I hope I pass my grad school exams! Everything smooth sailing!!】
【Here’s to a bright future—may it shine like these fireworks.】
The audience joined in, typing countless wishes in the livestream chat.
Seeing the lively chat, Hokuto of course wouldn’t ruin the mood.
He simply waited quietly as everyone’s excitement simmered.
And then—
Having paid attention to Vill-V’s group, Elysia turned back to Hokuto beside her.
“‘Mr. Otto,’ you’re the last one~~”
“Me? Do I have to too?” Hokuto looked mildly surprised.
“Of course.”
Elysia nodded without hesitation.
“Hmm, alright then...”
Hokuto looked at the screen.
Vill-V’s fireworks show was approaching its end.
He thought for a moment.
And then—
With a soft smile in his voice, he said:
“I wish... she can become the beauty of this world, and shine forever.”
“She?” Elysia blinked. “Who’s ‘she’?”
“It’s you— and everyone.”
