Someone in the livestream chat dropped a soul-piercing question.
Others replied with “23333,” “farming score, do not disturb,” and “unfeeling score-farming machine.”
In short, everyone was having a blast.
“You’re really enjoying yourself, Mei~ Maybe you’re actually talented at shooting?”
In-game, Elysia was also super happy after finishing the mini-game.
Even though Mei had just been swinging her sword around, which honestly had nothing to do with aiming or shooting talent.
Mei naturally ignored that point and smiled as she replied,
“Maybe because I had a really good teacher.”
“Mhm!” Elysia nodded shamelessly. “That day, even Aponia said the same thing.”
“Thinking back to that banquet... it’s really quite moving.”
She continued to narrate the events following that “banquet.”
“The third one to arrive dressed up was my dear Eden.”
As she said this, Elysia lifted a hand to her cheek, putting on a dreamy expression.
“She was so beautiful... The moment I saw her, I was stunned.”
“Thoughtful Eden even chose an outfit that matched my hair color... she really was too beautiful...”
【Some Elysia fans have already put on their pink skirts. Some are still pretending otherwise.】
【I’ve been meaning to ask—MiHoYo, where are the CGs? Give us Eden and Aponia in full!】
【Stop talking. Drop the images!】
【+1 +1 +1 +1】
Of course, Hokuto had considered this suggestion.
But inserting a CG image suddenly might feel too abrupt, so he held back.
That said, it didn’t mean there weren’t any CGs—Mei and Griseo had been working on them with great passion recently.
Everything that needed to be drawn had been drawn.
So he planned to post it on the official account later.
For now... no rush. Let the players enjoy the story.
…
Back in-game.
The banquet quickly entered its third phase.
After Elysia finished describing Eden’s attire at the time, she cheerfully added,
“Eden even invited me to go for a ride.”
As she spoke, she looked off into the distance.
In her line of sight, a roller coaster made of pink crystal whirled around the theme park before stopping in front of them.
【We get to ride a roller coaster with Elysia?!】
【So sweet and romantic.】
【Now that there’s a roller coaster, can we eat peanuts with our eyes again?】
Wait, they still remembered that “eat peanuts with your eyes” gag?
Seems like even if Elysia’s metaphors were a little off, their uniqueness made them memorable.
The duality of things, as it were.
Ahem.
Back to the point.
Once the coaster came to a complete stop, Elysia and Mei stepped on.
And yes—they stood on it.
Not sat—they stood on the roller coaster.
As for how that worked...
It’s a Herrscher thing. And a Honkai energy thing. Don’t worry about it.jpg
Once both were properly in place, the oddly designed roller coaster began to glide along the rails.
“But back then, what we were riding definitely wasn’t a roller coaster. Mei, I think you’ve guessed what it was, haven’t you?”
“Yes,” Mei smiled. “I believe I already know.”
And the players knew too.
They’d just watched the CG, after all.
Eden’s Artificial Herrscher Form... carrying Elysia into the stars...
With the sky as the sea, and her tail fin gently swaying.
They vanished into the boundless starry firmament.
How could anyone forget such a breathtaking CG?
“Hehe, but riding a roller coaster with you like this feels great too, Mei~”
Elysia continued,
“How about a little more romance? Like... more fireworks.”
As soon as she said that—
Boom~ Boom~
Fireworks erupted all across the amusement park.
The game then shifted to first-person perspective.
So that players could more fully immerse themselves, as if they were really riding the roller coaster alongside the two of them—
And with every rise and fall, they experienced what Elysia felt when Eden carried her into the starlit sea.
Touching that beauty, that brilliance...
Silvery moonlight flowing like mercury, a cascading curtain of stars...
Even if they knew fireworks fade quickly, watching them together with someone special made it okay to forget the colors—
What mattered was remembering who stood by your side.
“I really love fireworks... pouring everything into that last dazzling moment—how beautiful is that?”
Elysia’s eyes always sparkled like stars.
“Now, I want to give Mei a surprise… watch closely, okay?”
Mei focused her attention.
The players, even more so.
Elysia raised her hand, expression especially serious.
Under her direction—
In the center of the park, countless fireworks soared into the sky.
Boom~~
They bloomed into an even grander display of brilliant fireflowers than before.
“The finale should always be big and beautiful!”
【Immersion MAX! This is what sugar content looks like! Thank you, writers!】
【More sweet scenes like this, please.】
【What about eating peanuts with our eyes? (dog emoji)】
【Still not over it, huh?】
【Sweet sweet sweet, nothing’s sweeter than Honkai Impact 3rd.】
Everyone was genuinely thrilled.
But... it was time to move into the final phase.
“And now, our ball… shall officially begin.”
The roller coaster slowly stopped before the final stage.
Elysia stepped off first, with Mei following right behind.
“The last one to arrive at the banquet was that big boy who’s cold on the outside but warm on the inside.”
She took a deep breath, turned, and faced Mei.
“And so, I reached out my hand to him.”
In-game, a violin began to play.
The entire stage lit up with soft pink glow.
The atmosphere was perfectly set.
“Just as I’m reaching out now—to you, Mei.”
Elysia gracefully bent at the waist.
“May I ask you… to join me for one last dance?”
Mei smiled and was just about to extend her hand.
Players were about to flood the stream with “YES!!” in chat—
But in the very next moment—
Elysia suddenly manifested her weapon, and even the previously elegant BGM shifted to a sharp, urgent tone.
Huh? What?
Why did Elysia suddenly summon her bow?
What’s going on?
A dance is a dance—what’s with the weapon?!
They didn’t quite get it.
