Several player comments drifted across the screen, expressing their feelings.
In-game—
Little Elysia’s journey around the world was still underway.
She once passed by lush, green school buildings, watching children her age from behind the fence.
When it came to schools in the Previous Era of Honkai Impact 3rd, the most unforgettable names were naturally Kevin and Su.
“A young girl like you—are you hoping to apply here? Hehe, you look bright. Surely a good seedling.”
At that moment, a kindly old lady, quite talkative, struck up a conversation with little Elysia.
“Could I really?” Elysia asked.
“Of course. Since it’s Open Day today, why don’t I take you on a tour inside? The student cafeteria here is famous all around...”
【Chiba Academy?】
【The noodles here must be amazing (bushi)】
【The noodles they hand out must be legendary. I’m dying.】
【Kevin: cool~~】
……
Just as the comment section began to brighten with joy—
The screen abruptly changed.
Time had passed again. Little Elysia had long since left the academy and arrived at an isolated village, where she witnessed a horrifying ritual from afar.
“Why... are they tying that person to a pillar and making so many cuts?”
【???】
【Is that Brother Kalpas?!】
She had once traveled eastward, pausing on the crowded streets of a distant city.
A muscular man asked her cheerfully, “Hah, what’s up? Young lady, you wanna learn martial arts too?”
That man was very likely Hua’s father.
“But this place is full of rowdy guys. Not the best environment. If you're interested, there’s another master on the next street—she can teach you spearmanship and archery…”
“Archery?”
That must’ve been where Elysia learned her bow skills—right in the wondrous land of the Flower Kingdom.
She once returned to a twilight-lit street, sitting by a worn-out stage.
She overheard other onlookers say a magician was being chased by a crowd.
【That must be Vill-V!】
She once visited a remote mountain estate and witnessed the joys and sorrows of life.
A middle-aged man’s terrified voice rang out in-game.
“D-Don’t come any closer! I was wrong—I swear I was wrong! Please, I won’t do it again!”
Players were puzzled. Why was this man so afraid of Elysia?
Honestly, given how cute she looked, wasn’t fear a bit… unexpected?
“Calm down, I’m not some assassin...” Elysia explained gently.
“Don’t lie to me! You pink-haired woman… I know it’s you, I swear I do, spare me!”
【Does this tie into Sakura?】
【He’s just identifying her by hair color now, huh?】
【Why is this oddly funny?】
She once stood at the heart of the world, recording the depths of human sorrow and joy.
She had even glimpsed Ato and Blanca, Griseo’s parents, from afar.
At that time, Blanca was just about to join Mobius’ lab.
Naturally, Mobius had already become the stuff of scary rumors by then.
Though in reality, Mobius never forced anyone into her experiments—and often even gave cold, direct warnings: “My experiments are dangerous.”
【Turns out Elysia had ties to every Flame-Chaser all along.】
【Only two words for this part: utterly romantic.】
【Weirdly emotional right now.】
……
Just like that.
The girl’s footsteps touched every part of the world.
She accomplished feats far beyond the reach of most adults.
Each time she brushed past someone, her soul was gradually sculpted.
She had received warmth and kindness from strangers—comforting, encouraging, uplifting.
She had also endured senseless malice—lies, exploitation, betrayal.
Like day and night, good and evil split her journey in two: one side bright, one side dark.
But she believed—those glittering lights she saw in the night were real.
If, in the past, this belief had felt a little naïve—
Then now, after witnessing her journey, no player could deny its authenticity.
Elysia had already lived more fully than most.
She believed in beauty not because she only saw beauty, but because, after all she had experienced, she still chose to believe in it—and wanted to share it with everyone.
To love the world after understanding it—this chapter completed the idea of Elysia’s “beauty.”
“Ahhh~~”
Now a bit taller, with longer hair and a slightly more mature voice, Elysia returned to the beginning of her journey—the hillside outside that little town.
Looking once again at the sea of glowing lights, she sighed:
“So in the end... Earth is round. There really is no end to the world.”
Good grief.
Did she just…
Walk around the entire globe on foot?
Truly not like a regular human.jpg
“Just like the books said—so paradise doesn’t exist after all…”
“Well then, if paradise doesn’t exist, I’ll just create one myself!”
Watching little Elysia’s unwavering determination, players couldn’t help but smile warmly like doting aunts.
“It has to be a very beautiful paradise!”
“And I’ll name it—after me!”
……
And just like that, the fairytale-like memory came to an end.
“That was amazing!” Fairy Elysia said, fully immersed. “All those people she met felt like they were somehow connected to her.”
“And in the end, she returned to the beginning. A world tour… For a Herrscher, that’s really bold.”
“So, did she really not know her identity?” Mei wondered aloud.
Maybe Elysia had been searching for the answer to that question, too.
A long journey to find someone like herself—or perhaps, a companion to walk the road together.
Because that’s who Elysia was.
She chased what she desired, acted on her thoughts, and shared her True Self with the world, unreservedly.
“A place that can embrace her True Self… That must be the paradise she’s always longed for.”
“Yet she never found it... Elysia is so lonely.”
Fairy Elysia suddenly said this, unsure of her own feelings.
【???】
【That knife came fast.】
【Something’s off now, huh? (alert mode) I knew the writers wouldn’t go soft so easily.】
Earlier they were calling the writer “sensei” all sweetly. The moment things turned, it was straight to “this writer.”
You players really are... ruthlessly realistic.
Hokuto fell silent.
