Since the plot was just reaching its emotional crescendo, Elysia didn’t want to delay things too long. She gave a gentle nod.
Thus, the game story continued to unfold.
Birdsong, blossoms, streams, and a breeze…
The forest protected little Elysia on her way forward, guiding her path ahead.
At last, she reached the highest hill outside of town—
The scene shifted.
Another beautifully illustrated CG appeared.
Little Elysia’s eyes sparkled.
She gazed at the glowing neon lights of the city ahead, the vast cityscape lit by thousands upon thousands of homes.
“Woooow…”
She couldn’t help but let out a breath of awe.
It was her first time witnessing such a sight.
“So many lights… so many houses… so many… so many…”
Hahaha, little Elysia suddenly ran out of words.
At this point in time, she hadn’t yet learned all those strange and wonderful metaphors.
She wasn’t yet the ever-confident “Metaphor Master” she would later become.
But in her heart, a deep and indescribable feeling was rising.
The town she once believed to be the entire world… turned out to be just a tiny speck in this grand tapestry of light, easily lost if you didn’t look closely.
And yet it was precisely the flickering of those countless small lights that birthed this sea of brilliance.
“It's… beautiful!”
She finally found the right word.
That was her spontaneous joy, a sincere expression from the depths of her heart.
Such a beautiful world—it made her unable to resist falling in love with it.
Standing atop the hill, she couldn’t help but speak to the world:
“Next… I’m going to find my own paradise!”
【Why am I suddenly crying again…】
【Part Two’s story is just so good. I’m burning through tissues faster than Part One. But it’s so good.】
【Knowing the ending—how should we view her life?】
【With a smile, of course. (serious)(stern) I absolutely won’t cry!】
Some allowed their emotions to pour freely. Others still tried to play tough.
After seeing this memory, a soft smile formed on Mei’s face.
From the heart, she murmured: “Elysia… had a wonderful mother.”
Fairy Elys quickly added, “The children and adults of the town all liked her too!”
“Maybe that’s Elysia’s special privilege—being universally adored, never doubted… a superpower called charm?”
【Truly… who could ever say no to Elysia?】
But when Mei heard that from Fairy Elys, she simply gave her an inexplicable look.
Then continued:
“But no matter what, she still chose to leave—even though she must have been reluctant to say goodbye.”
“The very first Herrscher… someone who appeared even before the Herrscher of the Void… yet her actions defied the entire era’s understanding of Herrschers?”
“What exactly was her power… Herrscher of Human…”
【That’s exactly what I was thinking. Mei, my beloved mouthpiece.】
【Mei is literally my voice in the plot (dog head emoji)】
What did Elysia do back then?
Previously, they had seen Final Banquet as a tragedy—but now, that perspective had shifted.
Since the tale of the Thirteenth Herrscher wasn’t what they originally believed—
Then…
Final Banquet shouldn’t have been, and couldn’t be, a tragedy either.
Because that was the ending of Elysia, as a human.
Naturally…
It should be as romantic as Elysia herself.
Yes, it was a deeply romantic scene, wasn’t it?
Though to smile through the entire thing… would be extremely difficult.
In other words—it’s very cryable. (crying face)
…
“Don’t rush, adorable human. The journey through memory is long, very long. All your questions will be answered in time.”
Fairy Elys responded, after hearing Mei voice her doubts one by one.
“Next, she’s going to travel the world. We’ll get to see many, many memories.”
“Look—the flowers over there are blooming especially brightly.”
Mei was once again led by Fairy Elys to a crystal flower.
Just like before, she gently touched it.
The memories flowed again.
Picking up from where it left off.
After leaving her town, Elysia embarked on a journey without end.
Through the days that followed, she wandered through cities, mountains, villages, and wilderness…
She witnessed many things. Met many people.
This section of the story had a particularly clever presentation. Though little Elysia never had direct contact with the Flame-Chasers, her travels seemed to weave through fate itself—
She encountered many things connected to them.
Whether people, places, or objects—at least one of the three was always present.
The more players took it in, the more romantic it felt.
She once stood in the ruins of a church, listening to a choir’s gentle singing.
There, kind-hearted people helped her.
Though the game didn’t say so directly, it clearly hinted at Aponia.
She once shivered in a stopped train station, cloaked and cold.
And shared her last two candies with a thin, frail girl.
“Why are you still following me?”
“Eh? But just now, you said if I gave you that apple, you’d give me an orange.”
“I was kidding. I don’t have any oranges. Got tricked? Consider it a lesson.”
“Oh… then I’ll give you both my candies! Here, one for each of us!”
This was an obvious reference to Pardofelis. Even if it wasn’t literally her, it was tied to her story.
She once stood in a resplendent theater, overwhelmed by the heavenly music from the stage.
Clearly a reference to Eden and the Golden Diva.
【Is this Eden?】
One player sent a comment—but they weren’t yet sure.
The story continued.
Little Elysia once cried silently in a rain-soaked alley, lost in the night with the city.
It was the first time she understood moral ambiguity—that good deeds could still lead to evil results.
At that time, Kosma was robbing the rich to aid the poor.
But others exploited this, and after he left, specifically targeted the homeless he had just helped.
【This is definitely Kosma, right?】
【For sure. This is Kosma, back in his edgy mask-wearing vigilante days! I remember all their dark pasts. Like, Mobius and Kalpas totally have a ‘secret daughter’ (dog head emoji)】
【“If it breaks, it was Kalpas.” “If you feel sick, blame Mobius.”】
Ignoring the weird tangent that chat took—
Most of the players watching the story intently had already realized:
Elysia’s journey wasn’t just about wandering.
It was… the weaving together of her fate and the Flame-Chasers’.
【This kind of narrative setup—it’s so clever, so romantic.】
【Fate really is sometimes magical and beautiful.】
