【Adding horns? I’m in. Hilarious.】
【Makes perfect sense. Very reasonable.】
Half-joking and half-serious, the players tossed out suggestions.
Fairy Elys responded with a far more romantic explanation.
“While appearances do matter, this is, after all, a world of memories. You need to decorate yourself with memories that belong to her.”
“Now that your memories are blending with hers, what a lovely human needs to do... is make them part of yourself.”
“You need to walk through her life, feel her emotions, witness her choices, resonate with her heart—and in the end... understand everything she did.”
See?
To leave the most beautiful version of yourself in another’s memory—
When hearts connect...
Both will feel that the other is already their most beautiful self. No more embellishment needed.
It’s romantic, isn’t it?
Kind of like how any player who finished the Elysian Realm arc now sees Elysia:
No matter the angle, Elysia just looks beautiful.
Of course, Elysia is truly beautiful.
“But...”
Fairy Elys shifted her tone. “To bear everything of a person is still an exhausting and difficult task—especially her life.”
“From earlier until now, you’ve been pushing yourself too hard, haven’t you, lovely human? I’m sorry to leave it all on you... If you’d like to take a break, that’s completely fine too.”
There was a clear tenderness in her words.
Her tone now closely resembled mature me.
Or rather—it was.
Whether Mei noticed this was unclear.
The players definitely hadn’t caught on yet.
【No rest needed! I’m ready to see Elysia now!!】
【Charge!! I can’t wait another second!】
“Thank you, Fairy Elys.”
“But... it’s alright. Since Elysia has already stepped onto the stage of Elysian Realm, as her guest, I of course can’t keep the protagonist waiting too long, can I?”
Clearly, Mei didn’t want to waste any time.
After all, it had been a long, difficult journey to reach this point.
Who could sit quietly and rest now?
“Wow, such a romantic line!”
Fairy Elys was pleasantly surprised. She nodded in agreement and prepared for a grand finale~~
“Well then, lovely human, since you’re ready to open the storybook titled Elysia—”
“Let the magic of the fairy bloom one last time in full glory!”
【Note this: one last time.】
【My last magic—take it, Mei!!!】
【Another ‘last’? Can we stop using that word? My PTSD is acting up.】
【Something feels ominous...】
But regardless of what the players felt at that moment—
The story moved on.
With the fairy’s “magic,” crystal flowers began blooming throughout the garden of Elysian Realm. Each bouquet was a piece of Elysia’s life.
Each one dazzling—radiating silently as if to say...
Every memory of Elysia—every memory of the Herrscher of Human: Ego—was beautiful~~
“Lovely human, go ahead and make them part of you.”
Fairy Elys waved her wand playfully and flew toward one of the crystal blossoms.
Seeing this adorable display, Mei let out a soft laugh.
Then, following the guidance, she reached out toward the crystalline flower.
A memory immediately surged into her mind.
It was a remote town called Vostok-51.
A diligent gardener, beneath the tallest tree beyond town, found a little girl with pink hair peacefully asleep—as if she were nature’s own daughter.
【So this is the world of Honkai? Adorable girls fall from the sky (ponder) (ponder)】
【Not just adorable girls—Kalpas too falls from the sky (serious)】
【Me: Thank you, Mother Nature.】
【Wow, the way your minds sync is disturbingly impressive...】
…
The gardener brought the girl back to town and left her at the orphanage beside the church.
She was lively, cheerful, full of smiles and affection. Everyone in town adored her.
In early spring, she stood at the church gates, handing picked flowers to every passerby.
In warm summer, she helped the orphanage children weed the orchards, hoping for a bountiful harvest.
In the swirl of autumn leaves, she learned to speak—arranging colorful leaves into pictures and reciting her stories aloud.
In snowy winter, she drew musical notes into the white field and sang softly in the forest.
She was a gift from the woods. No one knew where she came from.
But everyone welcomed her.
Her innocent smile could touch the softest part of any heart.
It was like a fairy tale come true.
This kind of obviously unrealistic scenario would feel jarring for anyone else. But—
For her, it felt entirely natural.
Because this pink-haired girl was just that adorable, that sincere, that moving.
So isn’t it obvious why everyone loved her?
She lived like a fairy tale—because she was a fairy tale.
But… there was just one thing missing—she still had no name.
The moment the game brought up naming her, the livestream chat exploded.
【Elysia!】
【Why not just call her Elysia already!】
The players were very passionate.
And not just them—everyone in the town wanted to give her a nice name too.
It’s just... none of the names so far felt quite right.
The screen cut to the orphanage.
A young girl, about the same age as the pink-haired girl, asked her:
“You haven’t decided yet? Not having a name is super inconvenient.”
“Hmm... But none of these names are cute enough!”
“But I think Ataraxia and Theia sound really nice!”
Hmm...
They sounded okay, but didn’t feel cute.
Maybe they just lacked something special? Too generic?
That’s what the players thought.
At the same time, they grew more curious—
Where did the name “Elysia” come from?
It really was a stroke of genius.
A divine stroke of genius?
Well, in a way…
It really was.
