I've had this one in storage since... September maybe? Some of you might recognize it. For one thing, I posted a preview of this track way back when I was working on it, along with a chop heavy (and extremely compressed) music video:

Since then, it's been a wild ride trying to get this song released. For one thing, shortly after posting the preview none other than Funky Panda reached out to me asking if I'd be interested in releasing a song with them. I said sure and sent them this one. They loved it, and everything seemed to be going well until I mentioned something about the track containing samples, so that fell through.
Shortly after that, I joined the Nightfall Collective, who were just starting to get a compilation together. They asked for a track and I decided, well screw it, and sent them this track. They asked for a title too, and because I'm amazing with names I said "Cool Song."

If this track sounds oddly familiar and it's not because of that twitter preview, it's probably because I did end up reworking this track into Heart Rhythm off of Sample Heaven!
