So what I'm taking from this is Kit, while initially shocked, begins to open up to Poppy about the God's Blood stuff. Friedrich meanwhile, realizes that Poppy isn't one to sit idly by and is probably talking to Kit (or at least is on her way to) and is rushing to stop her.
