[Additional note 2: Punishments are not given by the system but are the most probable results of the host's own choices & actions]
'What the hell? This changes a lot of things. With these rewards, I can actually solve a lot of my problems. But the trouble is that I can get only one of them, either the spell code or the pantheon creation card since I can either kill Sinister or recruit him.' Rudeus thought as he pondered his choices.
He would never consider the third choice since the third one was always a bad one as a joke of the system of some sort but the first two choices were too good to reject one of them. He could have fooled the system by killing Sinister and then bringing him back to life again but sadly it was mentioned in the first task that even his soul should be destroyed, so cheating was impossible.
He couldn't decide if he wanted to choose the spell code or the perk card since both were equally useful to him. One sounded like it would allow him to tap into the magic system of the Witcher world and the other seemed like it would allow him to establish his own pantheon by allowing him to turn others into gods.
So Rudeus couldn't decide between the two choices and thus selected both of them. Since this was allowed as there was no note against it, he could just choose what to do at the last moment according to the situation and would get the reward based on the condition he fulfilled without any penalties at all.
"They have all gathered in the mission room" Jean informed Rudeus, breaking him from his reverie after some time.
"Let's go then. It's time to fight in the clone wars." He mumbled the last part to himself while smirking at his own joke.
"Master, I have managed to repair your damaged celestial armor with some of the adamantium that we recovered from the Weapon Plus black sites as well as the anti-metal that Morgana and Selene managed to get some samples of from Savage Island. I also improved its technology as well. Although it's not perfect, it should be a lot better than the last version." Zoya said as suddenly a boom tube opened and a glass box materialized out of it.
"Oh, thanks, Zoya. I had almost forgotten about my lack of armor. This would be pretty useful in the future." Rudeus said as he eyed the attractive armor inside the glass box.
"You are welcome, master. Serving you is my utmost duty and your satisfaction is my foremost responsibility." Zoya said, sounding like a hot saleswoman trying to honey-trap him.
"Try it on Rudeus. I want to see how you look in it." Jean urged him to wear it.
She didn't have to ask Rudeus twice as he too was curious about the armor and opened the glass container.
The moment the box opened, the armor separated into separate parts like hexagonal-shaped scales which began to float toward Rudeus and attach themselves to his body, slowly forming the entire armor on his figure.
It was extremely comfortable and an exact fit like it was specifically made for him in mind.
"It's amazing," Rudeus muttered.
"Yeah, you definitely look hot," Jean said with a red blush on her cheeks.
"It uses the mechanism of 'unstable molecules' that a new human scientist called Reed Richards came up with. I have applied that to both your armor and the team's newest costumes. The armor's biggest advantage is not giving you extra attack power but to adjust to your powers and grow with you as well as provide an extra layer of durability."
"Cool. It's perfect. By the way, Zoya, keep an eye on Reed Richards as well as the company he works for. Alert me if he ever comes in contact with Susan Storm or Victor Von Doom of Latveria." Rudeus commanded as he cracked his fingers and mentally willed Zoya to open a Boom tube to the mission room of the Academy through his newly re-established with Zoya.
"Let's go, Jean, we have a mad scientist to kill." He said as he entered the portal as Jean followed after him.
Exiting the portal through the other side, they saw Polaris (Lorna), Iceman (Bobby), Pyro (nobody cares), Storm (Ororo), Wolverine (Logan), Cyclops (Scott), Nightcrawler (Kurt), Shadowcat (Kitty), Colossus (Piotr) and Quicksilver (Pietro) waiting for them dressed in matching black and grey costumes with shades of red. They were looking really cool like an army of badass assassins.
"Good, you are all already here. So, I will start by explaining why you are all gathered here. Your mission should you choose to accept it is simply to enter a stronghold of a mad scientist who loves cloning people, decimate the scientist's forces whatever and whoever they might be, and make sure that the scientist is no longer a threat to metahuman kind.
Remember, this scientist, codenamed Mr. Sinister is quite a... sinister person who doesn't possess even a shred of morality and has done countless inhumane experiments on metahumans. He might even have developed clones of every one of you to serve him. So, you cannot show any mercy to him because if you do, he won't show you any the next time. Questions?" Rudeus stood before them like a no-nonsense battle-hardened general.
"What about Wanda and Anna? Won't they be joining us as well? They trained with us as part of X-force." Kitty said with a confused look on her face.
'I tell her about the team having to potentially kill people in their very first mission in which they also might have to fight with their own clones and the first question she asks me is why two of her friends aren't joining. Is she an ice-cold assassin or something?' Rudeus thought in his mind.
"Wanda and Anna still haven't mastered their powers yet. They still have issues with their powers and until those issues are sorted out which I hope they soon will be, they won't be allowed to go on missions with you guys." Rudeus answered.
"Oh, I guess that's fair." Kitty nodded.
"Any more questions?" Rudeus asked at which about three more hands went up.
"Any questions which are not related to your friends?" He asked with a sigh this time.
All the raised hands went down at this.
"Good. Let's go. We are getting late. Also, remember if you see yourselves after being separated for some time, always use the codewords to make sure that the people in front of you are not some clones of your friends." He advised as he mentally ordered Zoya to open a boom tube straight to the facility that Rudeus had learned of from the mind of X-24.
As a familiar red portal formed, Rudeus went inside followed by Jean and the rest of the X-force.
The place where they exited the portal looked like an old building structure resembling an underground atom bomb shelter that was abandoned.
Rudeus didn't say anything and just unlocked his telepathy and cosmic senses as he concentrated on finding everything happening in a ten-kilometer radius. He faced some sort of disturbance interfering with his telepathic powers, severely limiting them but this cosmic sense didn't face any such problems. He felt multiple life forces close to them in different directions, some of them were even coming towards them right now.
He sensed multiple cameras and sensors on him which answered the question for him of how they knew that they were here this fast.
"Me and Jean will move forward. The rest of you split into pairs of two and move in different directions. It seems telepathy might not work like it works normally, so me or Jean won't be able to connect all your minds together but you still have all your communicators in your suits, so you can ask for help if any of you faces a problem." Rudeus said as everyone nodded, linking their communicators together and beginning to move in different directions.
"Let's go and see if Mr. Sinister has prepared any surprises for us Jean. By the way, how would you feel about a possible baby clone sister?"

<(Logan, aka Wolverine, and Scott, aka Cyclops team-up)>
"Follow me from a distance Scott. if you even try to touch me in any way, I WILL break your hands even before the enemy can." Logan groaned as he walked in front of Scott with a growl.
"What, when did I touch you? I was just admiring your... body. Did you know that you have much higher chest hair than normal humans? They make your abs seem even more defined for some reason." Scott said as he kept his gaze on Logan's lower body.
"Ghhrrr," Logan growled, wondering if he could get away with murder. He had been having too many thoughts about killing Scott for the last few weeks. He hadn't acted on them yet but it was getting harder and harder to control himself with time.
"Wait, am I seeing double, or is that another you?" Logan stopped walking as he looked at the second Cyclops who looked the same as the original, only this one had a white costume on and was... floating above the ground.
"You are not the only ones seeing double, because I am looking at the clone of your dead nemesis," Scott said as he noticed a bulkier-than-normal Sabretooth behind them.
"Atem wasn't kidding when he said that the crazy chap was making clones of us. It seems that this Sinister has been quite busy lately." He said as his claws came out of his hands.
"Yeah... By the way, was he always that of a hunk?" Scott asked looking at Sabretooth's muscular physique.
"... You know what why don't you go ask him. I'll have some fun with your clone while you 'chat' with Sabretooth. I am sure he will be reasonable enough to listen to you." Logan said with a cruel smile as he went toward the Cyclops clone, ready to hack it into pieces to release his anger.
