Funny that they think the one they steal the ring from won't report it to someone in the process of getting a new one. Since Benton knows it wasn't activated it being missing/stolen gives him an obvious clue on how it will be used. It'd be funny for him to stealth over instead of teleporting, just to make them waste time and resources, wondering why he's so slow to appear.

Is funny that they think an ambush can even work, he can literally just teleport out of any ambush, he can even bring an attacker with him to strike them down one by one.
