doll update
🕑 Added 2021-02-07 17:07:19 +0000 UTCStill making human sized versions of these hats soon but took a short detour into a doll sized one for my bb :’)
Her clothes are a cosplay from code geass... I got them from eBay for suuuuper cheap by sheer luck. The person listing the clothes didn’t seem to know their value 😅 but they’re official Smartdoll BJD clothes!!!
Back in 2012 when I was a weeeee anime lad, I followed a blog called Danny Choo bc he would take super high res images of anime figures and review them... for a living! I thought that was going to be my dream career so I followed his blog religiously. Eventually, the man went on to design his own line of ball jointed dolls called Smartdoll which you can read more about here! The dolls are really well made and are most recognizable for their anime type faces & the most diverse line of skin colors. They just cost $500+ as most BJD go 😭
Anyway Smart Doll makes super high quality BJD clothes and often cosplays... I can’t actually find the original archive documentation of this Lelouch Code Geass outfit which makes me feel like I found some sort of holy grail doll clothes.... ahhh I’ll chill out there but! I’ll be working on doll versions of a lot of h99 stuff this year!!
I’ll be posting some other updates, sorry I’ve been gone for a bit... my birthday surprise took me off the rails for a bit~
My friend took me to get a deep tissue massage for the first time for my birthday and I had NO IDEA it was going to leave me sore for 2 days.... turns out they stimulate parts of your body you don’t even use and dude. I was just a completely useless noodle for a minute haha 😆
