Both silver eyed Sidorov and Rei’s sister transferring into Galens will be in the class a year older than Rei and Firesong. I was guessing plot arcs involving both will appear in the second half of the book.

Agreed! To have the ability to create an entire diverse universe alone has to be daunting but add the complex backstories and keeping every little detail correct from book to book right down to the tiniest detail!?! I cant remember what I did 30 seconds ago so even thinking about being able to do what authors like Bryce can do blows my mind… no honestly, when I think about how complex it is I am pretty sure brain cells explode or something 😂😂

I've never met anyone, and I mean anyone, who could write super complicated stories (or reports) without revision. My personal view is it is impossible to do. Because of this (including all the plot + character + world building that needs to be consistent) I personally consider fantasy writers amongst the most intelligent people in the world.

Isn’t Kamiya Corp a developer of NOEDs? I thought that was mentioned as one of the things they are into in book 2. Rather than tinkering, it would be neat if Jasper shows up with some presents of top of the line tech for Firesong to replace their standard school-issued NOEDs.

Finally got a chance to read updated 28 and 30. Feel the updates flow a lot better and better include all the characters around. Excited to see where the next part of the book heads with, I’m guessing, Sidorov and Rei’s sister in the mix. Thanks Bryce.

Agreed, it is going to be so cool to see them meet! Im willing to bet they will get along amazing seeing how furious she was when she found out she had a brother! So many parts of this series Im excited to learn more about. Wish I could get into Bryces head and see what he is planning! 😂😂

Then don't stay, David? I have a full-time job that has me working 60+hrs a week, I have older parents, I'm prone to getting sick, and even before all that I've *always* been a slow writer. I'm also not writing a serial, but a novel, which takes a lot of reworking and cleanup. No one is forcing you to stay and pay, man. In fact I'm very transparent with the fact that I don't think ANYONE should feel obligated to stay and pay if they don't feel it's worth it. We'll be happy to have you back anytime you want, or even just happy to see you pick up Book 3 when it's done. But definitely don't stay if you're feeling like it's not worth it? This is why it takes a good author years to write a book. There is always changes and rewrites! Cant fault the author for being 100% transparent and honest. I appreciate this about him. You have to get the book when it comes out, how can you not know how the story turns out?!?! 😂

Agree. In book 2, right before their team fight with Grey Fang, Rei and the gang get nasty looks from Sidorav. He is described as having "silvery eyes".

Rei’s sister would have slate grey eyes. I’m guessing it’s Sidorov. He hates anyone else hogging attention, and he has silver eyes. I know there’s a set up for Rei to take him down eventually but I would love to see Viv do it instead after losing out to Vademe who’s another Lancer.

Much more natural flow of emotion with Lennon in this version. Looking forward to seeing the team training together soon. Also I’m assuming the 2nd year section girl looking so hard at Viv and Lennon will be Rei’s sister? Looking forward to that meeting and how it unfolds. Lastly , what is the current time table to sectional and global events coming for Firesong?

I didn’t have an issue with how Lennon was behaving in the last version - it’s a shocking situation and even a usually stoic person like the Lasher has a point where that vanishes. But this does feel more like his usual demeanour. And I’m not sure if that’s better… seeing Lennon go crazy added to the weight of the situation. But this way does feel more like his normal temperament. Looking forward to 31, can’t wait to see how things progress from here.

I like this chapter, and it's been fun rereading each iteration of it. A little glimpse into your writing style. Looking forward to seeing what Firesong can do together in training. I also am looking forward to the first time Rei tinkers with his NOED and unlocks some new and interesting stuff with his growth aspect and possibly the seed aspect of his CAD.

They typically drop every 5 chapters. Example: 5, 10, so on and so forth. So theoretically it should’ve been in this iteration but I think Bryce wants to finalize this 30 before we get it. (Just my guess though. I do not speak for him)

It definitely feels smoother now. And Lennon's character doesn't seem as drastically 'changed' as people mention in the last version. Though, his demanded explanation does seem understandable especially given that it's clear he was told the details about the ability by Dent. He was shocked at Type Shift after all. And now with a third User Unique Ability in the Firesong arsenal... He's got to be a little afraid at the *cause* and the *why* this particular group of first years are developing at the rate they are since this is highly uncommon. Just like Catcher said in the first book about everyone feeling fear at how Shido was going to make everyone look.
