Nicole Campbell

Who does the cover art for these books?

Nicole Campbell

I need more chapters....love it

chris kizziah

I’ve gone back a few times to book 1 to read the placeholders because they make more sense now and we know who more of the people are

keshav aghera

Honestly, I'm way more excited for the placeholders.

Lyn Shirley

The foreshadowing introductions in the first book should let everyone know Rei and his team are going to send the Archons running away. We were seeing glimpses of scenes far far past 5-10 years. Rei was a grown man and scoffing that he was anything but part of a huge team of people that helped him achieve his victories. And Lennon was modestly saying he was only a small part of Rei’s ascension. I think these books are glorious hero stories and Rei certainly works hard enough to be a significant hero. I love all of these new chapters. Good world building. Good books! A+++

Miguel Sanchez

The underlined issue is that they are losing the war. REI is not so much an experiment but more a last line of defense/assault/outcome to their current issues. Shido’s unique ability to “Improve” and help other CAD’s “evolve to support” it places it as a Deux Machina for the military. The need for variety and conflict would evolve the device to the point it will rival/surpass the Archons ability to adapt…

GERARD Mumbari

Not worried, by then Ward will be a god not just a king

Hartmann

She is only evil as long as she has no idea who is Rei's grandfather! I bet that once she knows she is going to have no objections.

Rei read it several times and there was nothing that brought up anything more than what the sponsors would do for him. there didn't seem to be anything intrusive about the sponsorship like the ultimatum the general gave him. I'm pretty sure its like nascar or any other sports sponsorship. you wear the logo and represent the company on the field. outside of that there was nothing that would take away from his school experience.

kyle walker

Thanks for a great birthday present Bryce! Rama is the absolute star of these chapters!

chris kizziah

I loved how he used Aria’s words, the ones he told her he wouldn’t let her disparage his best friend with. Then, he turned around and used the same words and arguments to Carmen’s face.

Dougie Mitchell

/shakes fist at Bryce for making me feel pity for the future evil MIL

Samantha Sandlin

But Rei doesn't realize that.

saynt

its just his grandfather thats interested in him and he had been looking for him most of his life, i think he gave up at some point but forgot to end the program looking.

Samantha Sandlin

No, not concerned because from the quotes of Stormweaver that occur 12 years in the future, we know that the Archons are not likely to succeed in eradicating humanity.

dark phoenix99

In Carmen, you capture a certain type of military man perfectly. My father is a lot like him. I love my dad, but I don't always like him. He couldn't turn off the military mindset. Everything was about order, duty, and precision. He was hard to live with and I left when I graduated high school. I get Aria, and I get her dad. Good job.

Samantha Sandlin

Do we know if sponsors have a say in anything with their sponsee? Cause Rei's family ignored him his whole life (as far as he knows) and now that he is becoming someone, they want a piece of him. Not a real good incentive to establish family connections.

Samantha Sandlin

From what I inferred from previous hints is that the humans might be the instigators of this war as it was alluded that when humans entered the Sirius system, the archons were already there. Thus, there might be no reason for the archons to want to negotiate, especially if they are winning.

All true. I am wondering if the Archons are simply too alien, that there can be no diplomacy because they lack the ability to understand the concept at any level.

Tiffany Miller

That's been alluded to before. What I'm curious about is why a diplomatic solution hasn't been found and just what the archon goals are

Eric Gutierrez

Wow!

Is nobody else at all concerned about the verification of 5 to 10 years before the ISC is overrun and destroyed by the Archons?

Shannon Bryce

What happened to the whole grandfather and sister situation?

Ethan

Little late to the party but far out man they were some fair dinkum good chapters. Cannot state that enough, and I can absolutely appreciate them coming out as a block. Amazing work my man 👌

so I loved the chapters, I'm not going to lie though I was kinda hoping Dad was going to punt Rei through a window and when he landed get a defense boost lol. but I loved the progression of the story and the urgency that the army is starting to put on the clock. I really really want to know what Viv's ability is going to be, but that's for another chapter. Outside of his family being part of the sponsorship, I don't understand why Rei is not taking the million a year with a rotation of S-class tutors and outside of the family drama. I mean that alone with the extra work the school is going to put on him would skyrocket him just add a clause that makes it so his team is part of the training and bam you have a galactic class team ready to merc some Archons. thanks for the update on the new chapters really loving it.

James McLeish

Who already wants to read the chapter where Aria and Rei now have to tell Viv what just happened? Especially given her anxiety about being left behind by the rest of the team and Viv's tendency towards rage when it comes to Rei... Hell, even Logan and Catcher might rage when they hear it.

Caleb Courtney

Central is trying to turn Rei into a monster. What will happen the day they defeat the Archons, and they realize they’ve just been holding the tiger by the tail?

Zac

Managed to get through this on a busy night shift at work. 11/10. Enjoyed it a lot :) I would love to point out the awesome moral fiber of Rama Guest in these chapters. A hard man, but damn if he doesn't watchout for his students. Bloody brilliant! Happy to assist on Monday :)

Grant Ballard

Wow, I absolutely love how this went down, definitely not the way I thought it would! Excited to see that maybe somebody isn't as bad as we originally thought... Please keep it up, you're really keeping me on my toes!

Richard Jackway

I think these were actually the best chapters in the book.

Joanne Hans

Loved it

Scott Sherrett

Fantastic chapters thank you for the satisfying ending and not leaving it on a huge cliff hanger it's great to read this short arc to the finish
