This weekend is no better, so I think it's probably going to be a gap week.

It’s his company from my understanding. As a business owner myself the head of the company has to set the direction. Sure you also want to have qualified people under you. But those key leadership meetings need to have the boss there to set the direction for the upcoming quarter/ year.

No, I know he has other things going on in his life that are important. I just worry about his stress level knowing there are deadlines ahead. I just watched my son get his masters and he waited until the last minute for every major paper and project which I know is mentally stressful in its own right. It always works out in the end no matter what. It’s just as his parent I was hoping for a fun stress free ride to his degree instead of a stressful on. My son always says don’t worry about me I have it handled it will all workout. However the parent in me still worries for him.
