What a sick ability. Since it grows with the User, I can 100% see Catcher using it to abruptly chance the pace of fights at random, thus preventing his opponents from ever getting a true read on him. As a former athlete that competed at a high levels of his sport, that sort of unpredictability is absolutely terrifying. You don’t know what your opponent will do and when, so you’re constantly off balance. Its almost like Rei, but minus the actual, somewhat time consuming shifting.

This is a sensational chapter. Great to see another ability. It's an amazing contrast with Catcher's inner thoughts about him being the weak link of the team. Now that he has this ability, he will forever be far from the weakest link, even when Viv and Cashe score their first ones...
